Description

EXFIL is military jargon for "exfilltrate," which means "Get the hell out of there as fast and organized as possible." The EXFIL 80 will easily swallow everything you need to travel and camp from your motorcycle for days on end while still allowing quick and easy access to the items you need. Adding functionality, the large external tool compartment is padded on the outside so you can treat it like a backrest. This section easily unzips to put your tools and smaller items right at your fingertips without unstrapping the bag from your bike. The EXFIL-80 is UV-treated and water resistant, but when you need 100% waterproofing, just open the zipper under the tool compartment and pull out the attached waterproof sleeve, which slides it over the entire pack and cinches at the bottom.

Features:

  • 14" wide x 12" deep x 20" tall when closed
  • 55 liter capacity
  • UV Treated 1680 ballistic polyester
  • PVC backed for increased water resistance
  • Roll-top closure with velcro and side release Duraflex buckles
  • PVC backed for increased water resistance
  • Hi-Viz orange interior liner
  • Three removable, 1 1/2" mounting straps with reflective stitching
  • Tool compartment holds: 9 deep sockets, 7 combination wrenches, includes mesh pocket and flat document pocket
  • Waterproof cover in zippered compartment at base of bag
  • Four rows of MOLLE webbing for modular customization
  • SBS zippers
  • Shoulder strap included
  • Holds up to 80 - 12oz cans

Note: Tools, and cans, are not included.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this bag! Got this in the spring have taken on two trips camping, had ample space for gear and 3 days of clothing. Roll top allowed for tent to be strapped to top. Very secure when strapped to sissy bar. Very happy customer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag - highly recommend Purchased for a 12+ hour ride/vacation destination. Hold tons of stuff, very well constructed, solid materials and no cheap fabrics anywhere. The extra tie down possibilities came in handy. Got caught in the rain and the rain cover worked perfectly well. Looks good, which is an added bonus on top of the functionality. All in all, very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend at any price but you get more than what you paid for, and that doesn’t happen to often.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag, especially for tall sissy bars I'm super happy with the bag, though have not yet had the chance to take it on a longer trip. It has a great capacity (the 80 refers to how many beers it can hold... something I clearly need to test next summer!). IMO the best feature is the built in tool pocket/backrest. Such a handy feature, especially for folks like me who tend to lug around a lot more than will fit in your typical under the saddle toolkit. Really nice to be able to keep everything organized. It has a shoulder strap that can be used when off the bike. It should fit a variety of bikes, with the strapping system probably fitting better on taller sissy bars than shorter ones though. Went on my Sportster with the HD tall sissy bar like a glove, though a bit trickier on my Virago's oem backrest. Only small con would be the fact there's no compartments in the main pouch, which is just one big pouch, but that's no biggie. Overall, the bag appears very solidly built and I'm glad I bought it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just GET this bag! I pulled the trigger and bought this bag for a 10 day trip, that included me packing my camping gear and it exceeded my expectations! The amount of gear this holds is amazing! The molle webbing on the sides allowed me to add dry bags to hold my cot and blow up mattress - you see, I gotta camp in comfort! It strapped to my tall sissy bar seamlessly. Biltwell truly thought out this design! The tool pouch is bloody brilliant as well. I couldn’t recommend this more highly. If you like long trips on your bike, this is a must have!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well built bag Bought the bag for a long trip recently. It’s just the right size, and seemingly very well put together. Fairly waterproof even without the rain cover. Stayed very secure on the bike. Fairly easy to install.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exfil 80 is top notch Well like everything made by Biltwell this bag is outstanding. There is more then enough room to take everything you need for the road. It looks cool which is half the battle and holds up well in the rain so far. The tool bag with the drop down door is so hype and when it’s full it actually provides lumbar support. The high viz orange inside is actually a great idea and detached Velcro bag is a great place to put med supplies or something else you need in a hurry. Needless to say so far I feel no gilt in buying this bag. The saying is you get what you paid for as is the case here. If there was one thing I’d recommend to improve this bag would be some form of a quick detach harness that would stay on your sissy bar or sissy bars if you have more then one bike. So it doesn’t take so long to weave all the straps through. This is strictly based on laziness but if you made the Exfil 80 2.0 with quick detach I’d buy that too. Ride or Die

Questions

Can you fit a helmet and boots in this bag?

Asked by: Bdav
Although I have not attempted to place these items in the bag I believe they would fit comfortably. I use the bag for a 2 man tent, poles, stakes, ground sheet, fly cover, sleeping pad, bed roll and tool kit. After several years of use, the bag has proven to be very durable.

can this be mounted so it sits on the rear rack of a 2012 heritage instead of on the seat?

Asked by: Turner78
Yes it can be. I mounted it on the rack on my Triumph. Since the bag has no internal structure just be sure the straps are tight.
