The Biltwell Blast Shield is a custom-fitted five-snap flex shield designed exclusively to cover the eye port on the Gringo full-face helmet. The Biltwell Blast Shield completes the retro-inspired racing look of Biltwell's DOT lid. Made with impact-resistant die-cut flex polycarbonate shield construction and heavy-duty stainless steel snaps. Perfect pairing with the Biltwell Gringo helmet.
Compatible Helmets:
- All sizes of ECE Gringo
- L - 2XL DOT Gringo
Note: Does not fit the Gringo S helmet.

Love this sheild, but now wish I got the Gringo S
Great addition for the Gringo. Fogs in high humidity, just have to pop one of the side snaps for a bit then seems fine. Can see with the smoke tint at night on illuminated roads.

Does the job.
Quite dark. Nice on a bright, sunny day. It does fog up easily when stopped, but easy enough to snap one side on and off to let more air in.

Does not fit appropriately
Bought this, tried to put on my size small gringo and it can only snap 4 out of 5 of the fasteners.

Simple Fix
It is literally a piece of plastic that snaps on to the front of the gringo helmet. It keeps the wind off my face and seems to have a solid optical quality so in that regard it's great. It also fogs up quick and whistles and buffets a lot at high speeds but hey it was 20 bucks so it has more positives than negatives right?

Does à small fit on a gringo medium?
It depends which model of the gringo helmet you have.
If you have the Gringo DOT Helmet then a size Small will fit.
If you have the Gringo ECE helmet, you will need a size Large
If you have a Gringo S helmet, this shield will not fit
