The main differences between the Gringo S and SV models is that the SV model features front, side, and rear vent ports to improve interior airflow, moisture dissipation, and cooling
Features:
- Injection-molded ABS plastic outer shell is rugged yet lightweight
- Three-piece Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) safety shell dissipates impact loads and enhances helmet structure for safety without compromising comfort
- The Gringo S is now ECE 22.06 certified to meet the latest safety standards
- Molded urethane chin bar pad dissipates energy from frontal impacts
- Removable/replaceable comfort liner and cheek pads feature brushed fleece Lycra touch points to absorb and evaporate perspiration
- Chin strap features brushed fleece Lycra touch points for comfort and an adjustable strap end retainer
- CE-certified, injection-molded polycarbonate shield has anti-fog and anti-scratch treatments for safety and durability
- Built in recesses for various aftermarket audio & comms systems
Note: This newer Gringo S Helmet will NOT work with the old Gringo S shields (Part N: #759604 & #733465) because the closure has been improved.

Impressive first helmet
This is my first helmet so I can’t compare to any others, but the quality and materials are very nice. Fit-wise, it’s quite snug on the cheeks but not uncomfortable. The airflow while riding is fantastic. If I was buying again I’d be curious to try a size up, but ultimately I think I have the right size and I’m happy with the look and feel of this helmet.
