          Description

The Battlax Adventure A41 Tires from Bridgestone were designed with the current crop of high-displacement, high-horsepower ADV bikes in mind. A huge emphasis was put on improving rider confidence and wet weather handling. The sea/land ratio at the shoulders of both the front and rear hoops has been increased to facilitate faster water evacuation and a larger tread block has been used at the center in the rear to increase tire life and high speed stability. Both tires are of the dual compound variety, meaning you get extra grip where you need it and extra mileage where you don't.

          Features:

          • Improved grip in ALL conditions, when compared to the A40, with no reduction in tire life
          • Greatly improved wet weather performance
          • Mono-spiral belt construction (MSB) together with a revised case construction provides improved contact feel and high speed stability
          • Increased sea to land ratio at the shoulders provides better water evacuation at lean
          • 3LC (dual compound) front tire
          • 90% On 10% Off-road

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent 90/10 tire This tire came from the factory on my 2022 BMW R1250GS and was replaced after 18,000 km of use. During it's life it saw high speed operation and cornering on dry and wet pavement and moderate off road use on hard and loosely packed dirt and gravel logging roads. It never slipped or stepped out and lasted much longer than I was expecting it to. It was replaced in absolutely trashed condition with the same tire. It definitely has limitations off road but that is to be expected of a 90/10 radial tire.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Replacement Tire Good grip in the rain and dry and a great replacement for the OEM Bridgestone BattleWing 501/502 tires on my 2018 Vstrom 1000. Hopefully the tire mileage meets or exceeds the 18,000 kms I got on the BattleWings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good tires! This is my second set of Battlax A41 tires. The tire wear 16,000+ kms, and traction in both wet and dry surfaces exceeded the 2018 OEM tires. When combined with the Bridgestone promotional rebate the price was good value.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Traction, Poor Mileage Barely 6,000 km through one on my CB500X for the rear. For the money I'm going back to Michelin or some other brand besides Bridgestone. The factory Dunlop in the front is still going at around 14k whilst I've gone through it's factory rear companion plus the rear A41 I put on for perspective. 80/20 highway/city speeds and most in 25*C or cooler weather. Disheartening when you hear the V-Strom guys supposedly getting 12-15-18k on their machines with the same tire somehow?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 90/10 Tire Only put 1,000km so far but no complaints. Traction is good on asphalt and fine for hard packed gravel roads. Forget about real off-road though, this tire isn't meant for that. I haven't tried them in the wet so can't comment on that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tire, confidence inspiring I have about 800 km on these tires on my KTM Adventure 1090R. I bought these to run in the Spring and Fall when it is too wet to "adventure tour" with the stock TKC 80. I am impressed on how well the track during spirited riding. I found the front feels a bit heavy coming out of low speed corners. However that is a combination of the high center of gravity on the motorcycle and the aggressive profile of the front tire vs the TKC 80

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Update - Great Pricing - Fast Delivery Just did front and back on my 12 VStrom 650. Happy with result, far better grip and handling..had just over 20k on factory originals. No rain test yet but I’m expecting significant improvement(they’re new!). Prior version of this tire (A40) got good reviews on this bike..not a lot of chatter on A41 yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Update - Great Pricing - Fast Delivery I just put these on my ‘12 VStrom 650. Factory tires gave good service with just over 20k. new ones feel great, changes the handling completely(in a good way!). Turn-ins are much more sure-footed for sure..No rain test yet, but on the dry I like ‘em a lot so far..

Hi there, I'm looking at purchasing a 650 V-strom that has a bridgestone battlax tire on the rear and a dual sport tire --possibly the Heidenau K60 on the front. From what I've read the tires should both be dual sport or touring on both front and rear?

          Asked by: loislane
The Battlax and the Heidenau are very different tires with differing hold on the road or trail. This will likely result in a loss of control when riding in a corner. You definitely want to have a matched set of tires. If you buy the bike you must change one of either the front or rear to a matching tire.
