          Description

The perfect tire for the Adventure enthusiast, the Battlax Adventurecross AX41 is ideal for a wide range of Adventure and Dual Sport bikes.

With its 40% on-road, 60% off-road design, the Adventurecross AX41 tire is ready to take you as far from the beaten path as you wish. And with its proprietary tread pattern design, compound, and high cross sectional area, off-road traction is better than ever.

The tread blocks also feature Bridgestone's Even-Wear Design to help improve on-road performance by reducing the deformation of the tread blocks. This is an important element when the road surface can eat away at your tread blocks before you reach the dirt.

          Features:

          • The Bridgestone Battlax Adventurecross AX 41 tire offers improved off-road traction from an enhanced pattern design, compound, and high cross sectional area
          • The compound, pattern design, and block wall angle optimization have improved the durability of the AX41
          • The tread blocks feature Even-Wear Design, and have improved the performance on road by reducing block deformation due to step wear
          • Tread pattern: Cross-section area roughly 30 percent larger than the previous generation tire. This gives the new offering high grip and traction. Block wall angle optimization technology in the design of the Battlax Adventurecross AX41 tire. Tire engineers used this technology to optimize the block shapes in the tire's tread pattern to limit uneven wear. This technology is also utilized in front Battlax Adventurecross AX41 tires to prevent uneven wear and improve durability
          • Compound: Battlax Adventurecross AX41 tires use a compound that contributes to an increase in rigidity and durability of approximately 30 percent when compared to rear Battlax Adventurecross A41 tires. This enables greater traction

Note: Only on tires stamped with "USE TUBE ON TUBE TYPE RIM" on the sidewall can an appropriate tube be inserted to allow use on tube type rims. Excludes sizes: 170/60B17 72Q TL, 4.60-17 62P TL, 4.60-18 63P TL.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent grip I bought these with the intent of riding logging roads around my local area (Sunshine Coast and Vancouver Island), and have them on for a year. Instead went on a 6,000 km trip to the Yukon. The front turns in fairly quick and holds a line relatively well. A bit squirrely in loose gravel or wet slop. The rear tire has decent enough grip to lift the front on gravel without an issue. They both corner well on the road, wet or dry. They look quite aggressive as well, if that matters to you. Unfortunately I have squared off the rear tire on hot BC highways and the chip seal roads of Northern BC and the Yukon in two weeks of loaded touring. The front tire is in fine shape. Considering buying again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great front tire Been running this tire on my Tenere 700 with lots of off road use. It can get a little out of line in loose gravel but all in all it's a great front tire that also lasts a long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tire, might not get much mileage I put a set of Adventurecross AX 41 tires on my 2022 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE. They've slowed down the steering a bit on pavement compared to the OEM Metzeler Tourance tires, but offer excellent traction over loose and hard-packed gravel and dirt, and very good traction on pavement. Can't say how they'll do in mud. They do hum and vibrate a bit on pavement, but not as much as other tires I've tried. The only thing I've noticed, though, is that after just 400 km of mixed dirt and pavement, the rear has already worn down a bit. Not sure how much mileage I'll get out of it. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with them, especially since they're priced lower than the competition. When the rear does wear down, I'll just get another.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tire so far So far so good. Great tire on dry pavement, very predictable on loose and compact gravel, handles larger loose sharp rocks well (no obvious damage), hooks up well on grassy muddy surfaces. Haven’t had it on wet pavement yet but I don’t expect any surprises. It has a low hum at about 60kph but nothing offensive. Really happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bon compromis route et hors route Excellent compromis pour une utilisation route et hors route. Très surprenant sur l'asphalte autant qu'en sentier. Commence a voir les limitations dans le sable et la bouette mais quand même gérable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value Switched from TKC80s to these more or less because of the mileage wear on the 80s. These are decent, handle FSRs well enough. Little loud on concrete, but handle well enough. Considerably harder then the tkc80s, however the mileage rating I think is double, and the price is basically half..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trip to Northern Ontario, worked great Purchased a set for a trip up north on my GSA, covered 4k km, a lot rough gravel roads, logging roads and trails and the tires never made me feel like they weren't up to the task. A bit loud at highway speeds but they feel equally confidence inspiring on or off road. They are starting to wear, maybe good for another 2k km. I feel they are as good as TKC 80's off road and better on. A great value.

          Questions

I am considering buying a 80/100-21 and 120/90-18 for my DRZ400S to replace the trailwing tires they come with. I am having trouble ensuring that this tire in these sizes are tube type tires. Can you help before I order?? Thanks

          Asked by: NewfieDRZ
They are tubeless tires in those sizes. Tube type will have TT next to the size. You can fit tubeless tires with tubes, but there are things to consider. The first is that your rim has to be an MT-type rim. If it is marked as a WM-type rim you can only fit tubed tires. Another thing is that it is recommended to treat the setup as one load rating and one speed rating less than the tubeless tire says it can handle. That's because your tube and tire combination will be creating extra heat, especially the harder you ride.

Can this tire be run with a tube in 170/60 x 17??

          Asked by: Function
Mine are installed with no tube. But I`m guessing that all tire can be installed with a tube.

I ordered the Bridgestone Battlax Adventurecross AX 41 Front Tire 90/90-21 54H TL but find them not agressive enough. I want to get the more off road model. Would that be the 54 H TT that is out of stock or the 57Q? Thank you
