          Description

Look the part without sacrificing the pleasure of the ride!

Battlax Adventurecross Scrambler AX41S sits at the crossroads of attitude, fashion, design and performance. Built to catering to the ‘Café Racer’ crowd, the AX41S adopts the latest compound technologies and a balanced grip pattern to ensure optimal on-road performance in the dry, with targeted groove positioning that optimises water drainage to deliver confidence and safety in the wet. However, it’s the awesome look of the AX41S with flowing grooves and fluent line tracing that captures the eye and stirs the imagination.

          Features:

          • AX41S provides the perfect match for both a custom build scrambler thanks to its design, and for the rider through its performance. Bridgestone’s Battlax Adventurecross Scrambler AX41S is the tyre that takes care of the final look of your bike.
          • Mixing fluent line tracing and blocky robust pattern is the idea behind the pattern design of AX41S. In order to match a wide range of café racer and scrambler bikes, a tiny touch of adventure recognition was added to the flowing grooves.
          • AX41S adopts a single sport-touring compound on the front and a sporttouring compound in 3LC configuration on the rear ensuring this way the necessary wet and dry grip levels for a secure ride on any café racer or scrambler bike.
          • The design takes also performance into account avoiding high heel an toe wear or other irregular wear. AX41S has been developed in order to be used on the road. Not only to match a nice custom build motorcycle in a show-room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Was looking to replace my damaged rear Pirelli MT60 on my Ducati Scrambler and came across these new Bridgestones. These definitely seem more meant for staying on pavement which is fine for me as thats about 95% of my riding anyway. I've had these on for about 300km now and i've got no complaints. I've ridden these in cold rainy days over annoying slippery street car tracks and this takes it all fine. Maybe one complaint is that only the rear tire is dual compound. Overall these look great on my Scrambler. Check out the 10 minute youtube video by Chaparral Motorsports for a more in-depth review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with these tires in on all surfaces. Running a set of AX41 Scramblers on a 1st gen Multistrada. I now have 4500 km on them, mostly dry pavement, but also some gravel, mud and rain. I also took them through some twisty roads in the mountains and foothills west of Calgary. I was happy with their performance in all conditions. No noticeable signs of wear yet. Very reasonable price for a radial and I like how they look on my Multi.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Performance After picking up a screw on the stock Pirelli MT60 dual sport tires, I decided to try some new rubber. 1250km later on a AX41S rear and I have plenty to say. These provide great grip in most all road weather conditions. While I have not been caught in a torrential downpour (yet), the AX41S had great feedback on warm and dry roads, cold early morning trips (down to -1 degrees, note that you should of course ride much more cautiously at these temps anyway), and on the highway. They have a very round profile that makes steering very light. No experience in dirt. Furthermore, they are quite soft and are easy to spoon onto the wheels, even for a first timer. Only time will tell about longevity (I will update this again further down the road) but after 1250km I haven't noticed any early squaring, only expected wear. Great traction, and much easier to source than the stock tires on my Moto Guzzi.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tires, disappointing mileage. Have a little over 5k on these. They perform very well, always feel stable. Even with a bit of dirt on the road. Which is nice because a lot of the roads around here are rough. Another perk is the looks. I think they look great on my xsr900. I am a little disappointed with how they are lasting, I'm estimating they will need replacing at 7k or 8k. For the price I was hoping for at least 10k or 12k. I don't ride especially hard either, 90% and 10% hard acceleration and carving. But even then I'm not going as hard as my bike can do. If they were just a bit cheaper or lasted just a bit longer I'd be continuing to buy these over and over. It's close but these are just over the limit for me.

          Questions

          Tube functional??

          Asked by: Bhall
If this tire is truly a bias tire, you may safely use it with a tube. If it is a radial, you definitely should not. I purchased a 110-80-18 and although it was offered as a bias tire it is in fact a a Radial.  On the sidewall it clearly has the word ‘RADIAL’ moulded in and has an ‘R’ included in the size designation. Strangely, the Bridgestone website also shows this size of tire as being a Bias. The one I received is a Radial.
