Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good tire, decent wear On my second one of these. I wouldn't take it really offroad or even on a particuarly wet/muddy gravel road but it handles dry gravel well. Have had no issues on paved roads with this tire, low noise and was predictable even in some pretty rainy conditions. Changed after just over 11k during a road trip but frankly should have been changed at about 9k I just wasn't in a spot to get it done.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tire, but... Bought it for BMW 650 GS, as direct replacement for previous TW152. Good price, fast delivery and wife loves riding these in set with front TW101 radial 110 80 19 . But not lasting long..!!?? Only 10k km. Would consider avons av42 next, as older Avon distanzia easily doubled that mileage. Adventure riders 15% on gravel. Thanks for good service. Michael P.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent pneu de route, silencieux et sans vibration. Fait au Japon. À 13 000 km et après 6 ans, ils étaient presque finis. Très correct sur la gravel sèche, il faut faire attention cependant. Bon prix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made. Well priced Good in all conditions. This is a well built made in Japan tire. Some other name brand more expensive tires are made in China. I ride a lot of twisties here in the Kootenays of British Columbia on a 650 V Strom. Works well on gravel backroads but is not an off road tire. I do wish F9 would carry the F series designed for the bike

          Questions

Ai-je besoin d'un tube ou non

          Asked by: Yvan
Vous avez besoin d'un tube seulement sur la grandeur 140/80R17 TT (E Spec). Les pneus ayant besoin d'un tube sont normalement indiqué par "TT" (tube tire)

How hard is it to change your own tire w/o damaging finish on rim? As well as balancing

          Asked by: Punch
It is not difficult but really depends on your equipment options. I have recently replaced both tires on my V-Strom and it was the first time I worked on tubeless tires. 1. Breaking tire bead - I built my own "press" to make it easier - worked like a charm. 2. I used generic tire irons with simple rim protectors (see Motion Pro 08-0357, as example) - without them you will definitely scratch rims, this step is the most time consuming (soap water, a lot of iterations). 3. To settle new tire I used an air compressor - not sure how difficult it would be without it (you need a decent air flow). 4. Balancing - I built mine own device (basically shaft on bearings with wheel holders on sides) and adjusted with Motion Pro weights. Overall it was not difficult from my perspective.
