Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good knock, good slide, bad fit... First the good; AA, comfortable, comes with armour, has short sizes; these are big things for those who might have more waist than inseam. The light stretch in the fabric is nice and the AA is good enough for light commuting and back woods shenanigans. If you don't want to look like a Storm Trooper when you are out and about these are great. At -2 I needed long johns under neath, but there was room for my wool undies where they are a little large. My 40" jeans don't fit but these 42"'s feel a little loose. I suspect they will be ok in the summer but be a little warm slow speed riding. The bad Fitment, specifically on me and where the knee guards landed. My first pair came from FortNine but FortNine only had 32"s. I thought I could hem them so I ordered a paid and Oh No! The knee pads were on my shins. I sat on my bike to see if they would move up but not so much. So I decided to try and find a pair in my actual size and RevZilla had them so I returned these. The RevZilla ones eventually came in and after duty and shipping were still just a little shy of the FortNine ones, then I opened them to find theirs didn't come with armour, gah! But, my size the armour would sit where it should! Right? Wrong! The armour was still on my shins; not happy. If I knew this I would have stayed with the other pair and hemmed them. I can still recommend them because they do offer a lot for the price, from FortNine, I don't think it was worth the price without the armour. Even adding a pair of knee guards, depending on the guards, still put these below many other AA pants and for me, the next AA pant with a 30" inseam is north of $300CAD. If you need short on a budget these are still good. Who knows, maybe your knees are lower than mine and the pads will be where they are suppose to be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No kevlar, but very comfortable level 2 pants After trying on Kilm, Scorpion, and Revit in "my size" Bull-It were the only ones that actually fit me, so if you're in between sizes on those brands these are worth a try. Comfort, for me, is fantastic. Sitting, walking, getting on/off the bike area all fantastic. The knee protection is exactly where I want it. Other brands ran out of adjustment room in the same size for some reason so the knee protection position was one of the deciding factors for me on getting these pants over others. I really like the level 2 protection included for the price, and although the product information describes the denim as "AA abrasion resistance", i'd still feel better seeing some destructive testing compared to kevlar, or have a model that includes kevlar in key areas. Kevlar aside, the denim has just enough stretch in the right places, and the cut of the pants fits well over full height boots. The button is a little flimsy feeling, but that's easy enough to reinforce and replace down the road if I ever feel it turning into an issue. [Or if I want to tweak the waist size up/down next season.]
