Installs easy. It’s a basic cheap sissy bar.
Install was easy. The pad has to be on or it looks stupid. I don’t think any aftermarket other back pads will work out… so this is it. I have a cheap plain pad and have a nice diamond stitched higher end seat. Oh well… I have somewhere to hang a helmet and strap stuff to. It still does that

NIce install, really compléments the bike
Nice quality piece, nice looks easy to install...still I find it expensive for what it is. After all... that's only a 3/8 chromed steel...and Burly is asking a premium for it. I am sure they could ask less money for it.

Great fit and looks.
Got this item quickly. Installation was easy. Perfect fit. The thing that would have made it better is if the bolts would have been 1/4” longer. Wasn’t that big a deal as I just had to purchase half size nuts.

Just What I Wanted
Wanted something to allow me to carry a day/weekend bag. Install was easy, and took 30-45 minutes or so. Not only does it serve its intended purpose, it looks great on my 2015 Harley XL883N.

Can it be made to fit a Yamaha V Star 650 classic?
I'm sorry but I don't know - I'm riding a sportster. Maybe you can find the center hole to center hole specs on the burley site and measure your own bike. I believe this bar is made for the sportster's existing holes on the tail piece.
