Must-have upgrade for SRAM DUB preload adjuster
I consider this a must-have upgrade for SRAM DUB cranksets. Functional, easy to install, and beautifully machined, Cane Creek has created a far superior product to the SRAM part it replaces (I know it is compatible with other brands, but for me the real value is in replacing SRAM's part).
I was (successfully!) chasing a creak out of my drivetrain, and was surprised to find how much of a pain it was dealing with SRAM's factory preload adjuster. With plastic on plastic threads, SRAM's version is eager to jump threads and strip itself. If you even get so far, it makes setting the preload a very muddy feeling experience.
By contrast, the aluminum threads on Cane Creek's version are clean and easy to work with, and metal on metal construction makes it much easier to get a feel for the preload you're setting.
