Richly oiled and embossed Italian leather. The Trailmaster LTD features Chromag's unique top grain imported leather, richly oiled and embossed.
Building on the Trailmaster's legacy, it features the same medium size platform and a rounded uninterrupted perimeter that is easy to get behind and move around without any sharp, snaggy edges. The heavy-stock leather adds a degree of firmness and an aspect of all-weather durability that is unmatched in standard leather tops. The LTD features medium/firm density foam with an extra thick nose for technical climbing and "body english". A flat sitting area with a central relief promotes sitting on your bones. This saddle is mounted atop chromoly rails.

Chromag stuff is great.
Chromag makes nice stuff. This saddle is super high quality. I was on the Trailmaster DT for years before upgrading to this LTD. My sit sit bones fit this saddle design very well.

Quality control issues on this model.
While I appreciate the nature of leather finishes being individual, mine showed up with significant creases in it like it was cut from a folded skin area of the cow. Also, there were large gaps on the under side between the leather and plastic, with exposed staples. Very poor quality control from Chromag. FortNine was great to deal with as they accepted the return and quality checked my replacement before sending it out, and I went with black on the replacement, and I'm happy with it.
