Rated 1 out of 5 by from The most expensive cheap helmet ever. I bought this. It fit my massive head well at 2XL, if I followed the size chart, I wouldve bought smaller incorrectly. This helmet is cheap, the peak is flimsy and off centered due to sitting I presume. The leather skirt at bottom had a crease in the leather on one side (poor quality control) The supposed photochromic visor it comes with did not work even a smidge, I suspect it was just a plain clear visor. There is no one detent up visor position. it just flops around anything less than fully up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light, versatile and phenomenal visibility Like many, I chose this helmet after it was recommended by F9’s Canadian gear video. (Elbows Up!) Pros: it’s incredibly light! Very easy to wear and comfortable. This was my first foray into photochromic face shields and I LOVE IT! Best face shield I have ever had. No more need for sunglasses or even interior sun visor. The field of vision is incredible. I also picked up the 210 degree goggles for off-road riding. They are great. Another pro is how versatile it is. It’s super easy to switch between ADV, off-road and highway. I actually do take off the top visor when I switch from dirt to a longer pavement ride. It’s super quick. Oh, and the ventilation makes sure I never have fogging issues. It’s top tier. Cons: only 1. Wind noise is more than I have been used to with previous helmets. I use noise cancelling headphones when I ride but for anyone buying this helmet, some sort of ear protection is recommended for high speed riding. Overall: I love the helmet. I’ll keep an eye out to see if CKX comes out with an updated version that addresses some road noise, but until then, this is going to remain my main helmet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of a kind ADV helmet This helmet is currently one of a kind. It is the only ADV helmet with a peak usable to block out sun without tilting the head much. As a rider with glasses I have a limitation how much I can tilt my head down. This is the only helmet which solves my issue. The other parts of the helmet are also excellent. The only improvements I would ask for are MIPS and quick release cheekpads.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good choice, but pricey Snug fit, but no pressure points--ideal obviously. Great ventilation. Very large visor, with just a bit of distortion (maybe due to the photochromatic lens?). Crosswinds affect comfort with the peak on (in either position), not a none issue without it. Wear your earplugs, since this is not as quiet as a more street focused helmet. Lightweight and balanced otherwise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, photocromatic and affordable! I got this helmet as I wanted something light and I wanted a adventure style helmet. This one was one of the lightest adventure helmets I tried in my price range. I didn't even realize it was photochromatic untill I went on my first ride. I was rideing to the highway with my visor up. When I got on the highway I lowerd it and I could see the outline of the peak in the visor. Everyone exposed to the sun was nicely tinted. The rest was crystal clear. Then after 2 minuts the whole visor was tinted. I was worried since my last helmet had sliding shades but this visor is awsome. Build quality is amazing although the padding inside could be made of some slightly softer materials. The vision is great, I barely have to turn my head to check my blind spots. I can't wait to get lost in the woods with this helmet! I was expecting the peak to grab the wind but I barely noticed it was there. And I tried it without the peak and it got real quiet. Maybe iv only experienced loud helmets, but this was pritty quiet by my standards. And I only realized a few days after I bought it, you can take off the mouth guard! SO YOU CAN CRUSH MONSTERS AND DOMINATE THE TRAIL!!!!!!!!!🤣 All in all this is definitely the best helmet I've owned so far! Sucks to be that guy who probably got a damaged return helmet.🤷‍♂️
