Decent lower priced Helmet.
I notice vibration and wind affect the helmet a lot when the visor is open. I can’t ride with just the shade open alone as there is too much vibration. With the shield down and secure there is no more vibration , and the sub shade can be used. I like the quick-buckles.

Better than I expected
Having never heard of this brand, we gambled. As this was for my wife, I had a quick spin in and around the city. To my surprise, it was actually quieter than my $500 Bell SRT helmet. Wearing prescription glasses is quite comfortable with the pad alignment/set up. Visor stays clear until you spend time waiting for a red light. Cracking the visor open helps. Venting is decent, noticeable on cooler rides.
Only negative point was I had to trim some of the rubber trim skirting the base of the helmet to accommodate the Cardo mounting clip. Not an issue of the CKX brand in and of itself.
The inside EVA foam has pockets for speakers which is handy and they're close to the ears albeit not directly over the ears, for me anyway.
Overall, we're both quite satisfied with this helmet. Colour variations gives users a nice option.

Better than expected
Bought the "blue" model for my wife. Decided I'd wear it for an afternoon scoot to see how it was. It's actually quieter than my Bell SRT Modular helmet. On a slower section of the ride, I intentionally left the visor closed as I approached a red light to get the visor foggy. Chin vent was open and the fog cleared up before I made it across 4 lanes of the intersection. Quite impressive all around. Comms unit didn't adhere to the matte finish for very long but I just had to use the metal clip and life goes on.

Très bien mais ...
J'ai acheté ce casque, en gros je le trouve bien ,il est pas très bruyant, bonne visibilité, mais je le trouve lourds et un peu grand mais ça c'est moi je crois car j'ai été essayer un médium et c'est trop petit ...bref je le garde fait pour l'utilisation que j'en fait.

I see that the chin guard can be folded on top the helmet but can it be removed completely to a open face style and still use the visors.
No, the helmet's chin bar is affixed permanently to the mechanism, allowing it to pivot up and over your head when needed, but it cannot be removed.
