Ice build up & close chin area
I love the look and overall fit and feel of this helmet, with one exception....the helmet is very close to your chin and there is a lot of moisture & ice build up in this area during cold days. The nose guard works extremely well to prevent any fogging up in your line of vision and stays warm above your nose. Below your nose, the area is cold (even with the vents closed) and the condensation will turn to ice in a short period of time. After 3-4 hours of riding, there will be substantial amount of ice build up on my mic (aftermarket communication system) and around my chin. In milder weather (above -10) the helmet works great, but in -15 to -30 weather (plus the wind chill you feel it around your chin.
CKX is usually a really good helmet. I am rating it an overall 3, because I expected a little more from this helmet for the price

Worth the price
Excellent helmet. Normally I’m a large but a medium fits perfect. Had to replace the shield but it was warranty and Fort Nine customer service was top notch. Would buy again and recommend. Very warm helmet.

Awesome Helmet for a guy who wears glasses to sled. No issues. A little tight on the cheeks but that’s what makes it safer than other ones . Almost no need other than really cold rides for the electric shield . If you wear glasses and sled it’s with the money

Not good for glasses!
Breath guard is to hard to get in place because it is connected to visor, visor is difficult to open once latched,
I have to open and close my wife's visor for her.
Glasses still fog up
The colour is nice but that's about the only thing good about it

Très bon achat
J'ai acheté ce casque il y a environ 1 mois demi, j'ai eu la chance de l'utiliser à plusieurs reprises. Je suis très satisfaite du produit, l'air ne rentre pas du tout par la visière (testé plus d'une fois lors de grands vents) et pas besoin de collecter la visière chauffante même à des conditions de -20 degrés celcius. Pour ce qui est du nez de caoutchouc, je n'ai pas été de l'ajuster convenablement, je ne l'utilise pas, mais le résultat est le même, je n'ai pas besoin de la visière chauffante.

If there are only 2 shell sizes does that mean the XS and the L are the same size and the XL and the 3 XL are th same size and just adjustable for fit ?
No. If for example, if they produce a helmet in two shell sizes – say a small and a large shell, then to make a helmet that'll fit an XL head, they'll use the larger shell but fit less padding to accommodate the larger XL head. To make it fit a size L head, they'll use slightly more padding, and so on. You still need to use the size chart to determine the best size to go for.

Need more pictures how does this thing get its power period if battery powered what kind of battery how long does it last does it have an automatic on and off function. need lots more details. As in how smart is this device. Lithium 18650 or better?

Oui. Le casque a été conçu pour accommoder les lunettes de prescription. En fonction du modèle, il se pourrait que le cadre de vos lunettes entre en contact avec le déflecteur d’haleine. Dans ce cas, nous recommandons l’utilisation d’une visière électrique branchée qui permet de rouler sans le déflecteur d’haleine.
