Summer pads labelled as winter pads
My titan helmet was too tight on my cheeks, easy fix I thought they list optional cheek pads for cheap. They arrived, they are for a summer helmet, lacking the wind garter and insulation of the helmet supplied pads. To make these work I made a small cut in the plastic backing of the cheek pads pulled the foam inserts out, and installed the foam from the thinner extra pads I had purchased into the helmet cheek pads, kind of a nuisance but it worked. It's not fort nines fault CKX's website lists these as winter but they are nothing like the ones that come in the helmet but atleast the foam guts were the same
