Great product, great price
Much throatier, and deeper sounding. Very simple to install, you definitely can hear it sucking in air while in motion, so if that would bother you then might want to check out another product. I would recommend this to anyone.

Looks and works great
I have been using this Cobra intake for a couple months now. It works well. Let's the motor breath along with a less restrictive exhaust.
The only minor downside is increased engine noise at the intake. You can hear the engine sucking the air. It's not a fault. But an observation for those that may not like the increased noise.

Great Product
This product is easy to install with the installation directions which are included. The immediate difference in performance was quite impressive and showed how restrictive the OEM air box was. I still have not been out in heavy rain so I cannot comment if that will impact performance but it shouldn't be any worse than the OEM.

Good looks but...
I bought this intake almost a year ago. It was an easy install and looks good. However, I just completed a trip from Vernon BC to Edmonton AB and it rained all the way back. Needless to say, the filter is not protected from the elements and it sucked in more water than air for the entire 850 km or so. It consumed way more gas and I had to stop at every gas station along the way. I had to also remove the filter many times during the trip to dry it off. The bike ran bad and would stutter at higher speeds (+100 km) because it was not getting proper air. Do not buy if you have a carburated intake and drive in the rain.

Totally changed the look of my bike compared to the stock air intake. You can definitely hear the air being sucked into the engine can’t wait to test the functionality but will have to wait as it is winter on the Rock.

Questions
Can you ride in rainy weather with this air cleaner and not have to worry about rain getting into engine? Can you buy a "Rain Sock" to go over it if you ride in the rain? Or is this water proof?
As per my earlier comments about the Cobra air intake system, I rode some 850 kms in the rain and had serious issues with water entering the intake (read comment from Chopper01). Little did I know this would become an issue until I was out on the road in the pouring rain. But as a few other riders suggested, (TKay and Jonathan) I purchased the Roland Sands rain sock, hoping this would eliminate the problem. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending how you look at it) I have not had the opportunity to use the rain sock it since my last long ride through the Rockies.

Does this product come with the mount for the filter?
I have cobra 4"slip ons would i need to get the cobra power pro with this intake??
Hi, there is enough increase in air flow with this unit, that you may have to change your control module. However, your stock module also may be flexible enough to handle the changes. I suppose you could use the air cleaner and see if you have positive or negative performance issues before going for a new engine brain. Also, you cold check the spark plugs after some use, and see how they look regarding combustion.
