Easy install, good sound and performance
Installed this system (Part # 2164SC) on a 2013 V-Star 650 Custom along with the Baron's Big Air Kit with rejet (Part #BA-2011-13B). Exhaust installation was very straight forward and only took about an hour. One note to others doing the install, this system does not use muffler gaskets and only requires the stock gasket at the cylinder.
Exhaust definitely has a much more aggressive sound than the stock system, but is not irritating on long rides. The muffler baffles seem to prevent any droning while cruising that can happen with straight or drag pipes. The system comes with full heat shields which have not showed any signs of bluing yet.
Overall, the system seems to be high quality.

great look
I bought this cobra exhaust about a month ago and it fit perfect, other places told me that they didn’t make aftermarket exhaust for a 2013 c50t well they were wrong. I bought this from FortNine and it’s fits perfect and looks and sounds amazing.

I've had this exhaust on my xvs1100 for 5 years. Still looks and sounds amazing. There is one small discoloured spot, but each time I polish it gets smaller. Must have been one of those trips I was hard on it.

Easy install
My cobras where easy to install. Delivery was on time as scheduled. Best yet they sound great. Nice rumble at idle and quite loud when you open up throttle. Intended to be heard, when in traffic.

Cobra Boulevard slash cut
Installed on Yamaha Vstar 1100, looks and sounds great but the back brake reservoir needs to be moved over ( new bracket supplied) and the hose is not long enough. I have it strapped to the front frame for now until I figure something out.

Good sound poor manufacturing quality.
When I got them I had to grind the inside of the pipe down as the pipes didn’t fit into themselves even though they promised me a guarantied fit. However they do look and sound good once put together.

looks great and sounds perfect
After reviewing the many options out there, I picked the Boulevard based off sound reviews.
It CAN be obnoxious.. but under normal idle and cruising speed its average aftermarket loud I would say. When you roll on the throttle is is quite loud, but not setting off car alarms.

Does this require the reuse of the front head pipe?
yes, you have to reuse the front cylinder head pipe. ( I installed these on my vstar last summer)
