Not recommended for -98-04VL 1500
This kit contains stainless steel needlejets. They will destroy the emulsion tubes in the Mikuni carbs because the tubes are made of a softer metal than stainless steel. The tubes will egg out within 5000 miles and cause poor performance and decrease fuel mileage. The kit, as stated was developed by Dynojet using the same needlejets as they use in their own kits.
Damage to the carbs can only be repaired by two companies, both in the U.S.A.

Cobra jet kit
Bought Cobra slip on mufflers early in summer for my 2004 Road Star 1700. Was running way to lean, installed jet kit and it made a world of difference. No more sputtering at highway speed and a lot quicker warm up.

Easy to install
Haven't been able to really try the bike out since I put the car bit in cause its still winter here, but the bike fires right up and really shortened the warm up time. Can't wait to get out in the spring

Wanting to replace my stock exhaust with cobra street rod slash down exhaust on my 2004 Honda Shadow Aero 750, is this the right carb jet kit to get?
That is the same pipes and kit I put on my 2004 1400 Intruder and its running great, I didn't do the work I just bought the pipes and carb kit and my local mechanic do the work.
