Easy to Install and Works Great
I installed this at the same time as the Cobra Air Intake and Vance & Hines Shortshots exhaust. You have to remove the seat and lift the tank to install both the intake and computer and doing them at the same time reduces the work. Installation was very easy. It is plug and play. The bike ran smoothly from the start considering the intake and exhaust were changed and no adjustments were needed and there are no maps to install.

Works Great
Done several engine mods to my bike. Bigger jugs, cams, air and exhaust. Plugging this thing in was the easiest mod done and the bike runs great!

Nice Little Unit
Noticeable improvement in performance from a subjective perspective. I had read online that the "Fi2000R" version was plug and play and the "Fi2000" version wasn't. Not true ... this version was plug and play. I also read reviews that said it took time for the unit to "learn" your bike and that you might have difficulty with the bike running properly at first. Mine worked great right from the getgo ... no "learning" period required. I found the unit to be easy to install, even for someone with no mechanical inclination, like myself, who wasn't even sure what a fuel injector looked like or where it was on the engine. My only issue with the install, is that there was very little room to place the module under the seat. I had to carve out a bit of the seat's padding underneath, to accomodate a wiring harness that could not be moved out of the way of where the module had to be placed.

Works perfect
Installed Vance Hines twin slash on my bike. After installation I had some decel pop and some closed throttle pop. I had used new gaskets on the install but was suprished when I double checked the muffler clamps they still had a few more turns in them. This took care of decel pop but I would get occasional closed throttle pop in second and first gear. Installing the power pro took care of this. No more issues. Bike remained smooth. No flat spots. Improved performance. Don't expect it to improve the bike on its own. The pipes improved performance. The Cobra smoothed it out. Invest in a good pair of needle nose pliers. 12 inch. The 8 inch is t long enough. Use a dish towel to prop up the gas tank, no more than 1/4 tank of gas in tank don't tighten the ground wire until you have it in the installed position. The ground wire is not very long.

Awesome!!
After trying a couple of different makes of tuners for my bike, I was tired of constantly adjusting and playing with the settings to attempt to get my bike running great.
I installed this tuner in about 30 minutes and what a difference!
My bike is finally running awesome and has so much more power than before...its like a new bike!!

this product is brilliant!
this product saved me from buying a new bike this year! my bike has several mods done, and would not idle properly. after I installed the fi2000, my bike ran great and continues to run great!!! starting is better, fuel economy is better, and power is better! thanks cobra!!

cheap build quality
Can't believe this thing costs over $700.00. Ground wire broke off completely during install, with no abuse whatsoever. Cheap piece of plastic. The app doesn't work on newer android phones (complaints all over the internet). Bike runs ok, but still get decel pop. Not impressed.

Don't Waste Your Money
I bought this unit for my 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager. Easy to install. Problems for day 1. Bad hesitation around 2000 rpm and backfiring through the fuel injection system. Sent it back to Cobra which cost me another $57.00. They sent is back to me with no explanation. Very poor customer service. Ended up purchasing a Power Commander V which works awesome. I'll never by Cobra Fuel Tuner ever again. I have 2 and can't send them back or sell them because they don't work.

what is the difference between the powerpro black and the fi2000 (out of stock) other then the price differnce?
As long as you are purchasing the correct part number for your vehicle there is nothing different about them, other than the colour.

is the only difference between the fi2000 and fi2000r the use of o2 sensors?
There is also no need for wire cutting and splicing with the Fi2000R.

No need to adjust timing on my 20009 FLHTCU with Stage Two, worked great.

why do I not see any recent post? like within the past year?
That is a good question, lack of advertising due to demand perhaps. Anyway I put the full kit in my Harley FLXH 2013. That's Corbra intake and k$n filter, plus the Fi 2000. Wish I had not put the sticker on my garage wall, cause everyone says wow Real quick and torky. I am very pleased with the unit. Totally a different bike. Easy install for a person with good abilities. You want fast hole shot. Install it and drive her like you stole it. Programs to your style. I believe there is a satisfaction clause, give it a try. Not happy return it. No more back fires like I was riding a tank. Like I said wow.
