Cobra light bar
I have been a fan of cobra for a long time. That soon changed with this cobra light bar. I bought this light bar for my Yamaha roadstar, and was very disappointed with the quality. I used to have a National Cycle light bar that had hidden wiring, a quality switch and was solid as a rock! People with Roadies know they have vibrations from the engine. The NC light bar never vibrated once. The cobra light bar on the other hand shakes like crazy at certain rpm. The wiring is completely visible with the cobra light bar, and looks really tacky. The switch for the cobra light bar is a made in China plastic switch, and the worst part of that is the terminals are exposed under the bar, not weather protected! My biggest complaint is that both light bar lamp lenses are shaped to project the light to the right of the bike. So up against a wall you see both lamps shining to the right of the bikes headlamp beam! In order to get the left lamp on the left side of the headlamp you have to face the left lamp assembly to the left at least 30 degrees from Center! Which you can imagine looks terrible. I contacted cobra, and they said this is how it is, they don't make a left and right lamp. By the time this product was shipped to my door, it was just under $500! That doesn't include turn signals!! I am soo disappointed in spending that kind of money for this poor quality. Money I will never get back and will be reminded daily when riding...

Fit and finish well beyond what I figured
Before I purchased this Cobra Lightbar with Spotlights, I bought one from Amazon. The lights were made of plastic and very flimsy. They cracked and broke in a few days riding along with the mounting bar was not right for my bike.I had to rem out the mounting holes to fit.
I ordered this unit and it fit perfect. No modifacation and the instruction were straight forward. Less then an hour, I had the lightbar installed and lights wired to my high beam. The lights are very sturdy and made of high grade medal. I am very pleased with the out come of this light bar. And after adjusting the lights, they shine great when riding at nights.

Very easy to install. Looks and works great.
I bought this item 4 weeks ago and was able to install it within an hour. I am an average bike rider, so my knowledge of installations is pretty standard.
I found the instructions very easy to understand and follow. Their method of joining wires to existing electrical was excellent. Looks awesome, and adds lots of light.

Great looking product, easy to install
Lightbar arrived quick (thanks FortNine). Excellent heavy duty chrome construction. If you're a gear-head and have wrenched on bikes before, the installation is quite simple and straight forward, if you're new to wrenching its not that difficult. Should make a real improvement for night driving and being seen by other drivers any time of day.

Item not as discribed!
I relied on the description that the item mounted to my bike in the location of my lightbar for my turn signals... which it did not!... I was able to return them and got my money back... Kudos for that!

Lights are non-halogen 30W sealed beam headlamps.

I have a 2012 Vulcan 1700 Classic with a Memphis Shades fairing on it. Are there any clearance problems with this light bar on my bike with the fairing on it?
