Motors love air
I bought this air intake for my V-Star 1300 and find that the motor on my bike just loves the air. I do find that on a very windy day with a gust of wind that even with the Fi2000R hooked up and adjusted that I can get a slight hesitation under acceleration because the air intake is wide open and gets that extra gust of air without the fuel it wants, but a very slight hesitation. Other than that it seemed to increase my horsepower and fuel mileage, looks awesome and sounds great.

Let the air flow
I bought the Cobra air intake for my 2011 950 V Star and the difference in power and fuel mileage was amazing. It was very easy to install and fit like a charm. I travel a lot of country roads and when the bugs are out you have to keep an eye on the front screen for the parts of the bug that don't make it to the K&N filter. Delivery and packaging were A1. Thanx

Nice but missing some hardware for install
I am happy with this intake now, but it was missing the gasket and one mounting bolt when purchased. The box was sealed when I got it, e-mailed cobra twice to get missing parts.. No response or acknowledgement. Got a maintenance guy at my work to get me missing bolt and a gasket from their supplier. I do not recommend anything Cobra as there customer service is non responsive. Easy to install if they include all hardware.

Powrflow brings road glide to life
Love may new AirCleaner...It's definitely added more HP and with my new Cobra pipes and Power Commander....darn...its like a new machine. And I swear it's running cooler. The service at Canadas Motorcycle was top rate. Powrflow was packaged awesome and arrived like in 3 days.

GREAT LOOK!!
Pick this up for my 2012 Honda Shadow Aero!! I don't think it adds anything to the performance...BUT it is MUCH more comfortable to ride with it instead of the bulbous factory aircleaner sticking into your leg...AND it looks WAY cooler!!!

Can this intake be mounted backwards so that it faces the rear?
Yes it could. This is not the right way. It is a ram air. It is ment to face forward.
