Amazing sound
I bought this item for my Shadow 750 Streetrod Slashdown Cobra's. Decreases the extremely HIGH frequency of the pipes. Gives a loud and deep tone to the bike. Less backfires too. Not much difference on idle... Still have to release the gas when you see a police car on the street (the aftermarket pipes are not legal here in Quebec, Canada)! But the sound isn't annoying with the QCBaffles on and the welded plates (chambers) are perfect for the straight pipes rod test. That's a must have for those who are looking for a quieter and deeper setup. Not designed for wrapping with heat wrap.

Cobra Baffles
I was skepticl as to how much these would quiet down my wifes cobra pipes.
the cut the bark down to where they still sound nice but i can now ride at her 5 oclock without having to back off 30 yards.

Great sound
They were a little difficult to replace on the slip ons but were worth the effort. They have a nice deep throaty sound and not the snapping sound and that makes a huge difference in the morning.

quieter that regular insert
I bought two sets. one for my neighbor and one for myself..both same V-Star 1100's. they are quieter than the stock baffles but still a little louder than I thought they would be. But a nice sound. Although I'm still looking over my shoulders for cops when I ride...one slipped in very nicely but one was a little snug, had to tap it in so might be a little harder to pull it out if I ever have to...

Perfect Volume
I purchased these baffles to quiet down the Cobra Dragster pipes on my 2012 Yamaha Stryker. Cobra does not make a baffle specifically for the Dragsters, but these are the proper spec size. They drop the volume just enough to stop annoying your neighbours on start up. But you still get that lovely Cobra bark when you twist the throttle. Expect a very slight power loss compared to the stock baffles. But it's certainly worth it. Make sure you use loctite on the screws for both the baffle and the end cap of your pipes, or you'll be chasing them down the highway. Ride safe.

These baffles tone the pipes down a little, making the sound not as sharp. A must for anyone who has neighbors!

Happy with the sound
I had to buy these baffles for my cobra speedster long shot on my m109r 2008.the sound of original baffles was extremely loud that would take away the joy of riding. These new baffles have dropped the sound by 5 Dbs which is much more tolerable now.
I struggled with the right size and ended up retur ING at least 2 sets. Eventually called up Cobra manufacturing on US and figured out what item number I should be ordering. Make sure you are explicit on your bikes model and year as it will change the size of the baffle.

Save your money.
Made only a minor difference in sound on Cobra splashdown pipes. About 2-3 dB reduction. DB limit was still well over 100 after install.

How do I order these for my Cobra Dragster Exhaust when you have to pick a Motorcycle model? Very frustrating to order from this type of website setup. I randomly tried several different bike models with none coming back as fit in the fitment checker.
OK... sorry my friend I just found out that there is absolutely not a lot of ways to order this part excepted by cheating a little... I found a "Guaranteed Fit" with an Harley Davidson model... It says it won't work for my 2007 Shadow, but already have some installed on my bike at this moment (ordered here in the past)... I know I needed the #9015Q for my bike (1.75" / 2.1" X 9"), just make sure you don't need another one by finding some specs on the net. And then, search for the part number and you should be able to order it with a notice "not sure it will fit your vehicle". I can understand your frustration now, there is really something that is not working with this piece!
