Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bon achat! :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sound I've had the Cobra Slip on on my 2007 Vstar 1300 for a couple of weeks now and it sounds great. Gives it a nice low rumble, noticeable increase in low end torque, and isn't obnoxiously loud. When you really open it up it is loud, but riding normally is very respectable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sorry Neighbours My apologies to my neighbours, but it ain't coming off. Packaging was excellent, no dings or scratches of any type (I checked). Installation took about 15 minutes max. Looks very close to original equipment. Cruising is ok but when you accelerate or taking off, this thing is louder than I would like it to be (just my preference). You can shove a rod straight through this thing, there is nothing in the way to stop it. I didn't buy it for safety, some people think being heard is safer, but I did notice birds don't hang around at the edge of the road anymore so, if other critters follow the same practice, if could be somewhat safer. I don't know about safety inspection, wether it will pass or not, but I will keep the original just incase. They are easily swapped out if need be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Bought this for my 1300 Yamaha v-star ! Install was very easy. Only took about 30 minutes to do so . And I was pleasantly surprised with the end result!!! Which is the rumble of a Harley and the ride of a Yamaha !

Did you have to buy a fuel management system also? if so which one?

          Asked by: Garyt
Hi Garyt, I would suggest going with something like the Power Commander jet kit, Power Commander V, or cobra fi2000(r) fuel processor. ~Danielle, Customer Service, Canada's Motorcycle

What quiet core do I require? I installed this  system on my 2015 Yamaha Stryker

          Asked by: JayM
I just wrapped the baffle with stove rope, but I still found it too loud for my liking and have switched back to my original exhaust.
