Rated 3 out of 5 by from Loud This slip-on muffler is loud and tinny. It sounds cheap. It does not make a deep bass V-twin sound that I was hoping for. It made my ears hurt when riding. I have removed it and reinstalled the stock muffler. It is a good quality product, excellent chrome, easy to install, just sounds cheap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product Side note.. I purchased my Cobra slip-on thru a private transaction, and did not use Fortnine, so I can't comment on anything regarding delivery, price etc.. BUT the product itself was freaking awsome!! I used to really like my bike, and now LOVE it. I can now rival my Harley neighbour across the street.. Piece of cake to install. Less than 30 mins. I spent more time polishing it :)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice piece of Chrome but... Ordering was easy, shipping fast, but arrived with a large dent in it, apparently no exchanges allowed and I didn’t want to wait for the return to go through and reorder, so I returned it and ordered the exact product on Amazon for 100$ cheaper.

          Questions

are these pipes much louder than stock?any engine mod's required?

          Asked by: Antny
Yes they are much louder that the stock units. If you have a single final pipe replaced with a single final pipe then no changes are needed to the computer chip. If you change from two into one or two seperate pipes or visa versa then changes to the control chip will be needed.
