Description
The ContiTrailAttack 3 is a tire designed specifically for the very latest adventure motorcycles. The most agile dual sport, all-around tire for easy, accurate and predictable handling. A perfect combination of contour, compound, construction and pattern design, the Conti Trail Attack 3 warms-up within miles, providing constant performance and a shorter break-in period with improved mileage.
Features:
- 90% on road/10% off road
- Revised tread pattern, in combination with our latest RainGrip compound, offer exceptional grip in wet conditions.
- Extremely fast warm up times, with your tire up to temperature within the first mile, even in cold weather.
- MultiGrip Technology improves mileage through a wear resistant central area and progressively increasing grip levels towards the shoulder, with no feeling of step as you lean the bike over.
- Our unique Traction Skin provides an extremely safe and short scrubbing in period. This is possible due to the revolutionary micro-roughness of the tread surface, which is the result of the new tire mould coating technology which eliminates the need for tire-release agents.

Sticks and Secure
Although I ride a dual sport, I have some great twisty mountain roads between Vancouver and Whistler, BC. The dual sport sometimes turns into a MotoGP wannabe! These tires feel very safe and secure. I've had them right out to the edge and no slippage. Also been on gravel and they are surprisingly capable there too!

Smooth!
I just put these tires on my Africa twin , replacing the worn out k60's. They are an outstanding 90/10 tire. Very smooth and quiet on the hwy excellent predictable turn in , and confidence inspiring cornering manners. And much better on gravel roads and hard packed trail than you would expect. I've had the trail attack 2's on two different BMW's and these 3's are perfect for the type of riding I'm doing right now with the twin. Very happy with them!

Love the TA's
I have had the Michelin Anakee, TKC 80, TKC 70, the Trail Attack 2 and now the Trail Attack 3's on my bike. It doesn't compare to the TKC 80 because that is really an off road tire. However, I prefer the TA's to the Anakee and the TKC 70. Unless you are planning to only ride in sand or mud, there really isn't any point in an aggressive off road tire and most R1200 GSA's don't spend their time in the mud. If they do, you likely have the wrong bike. A 50/50 tire is just bad in both. The Trail Attacks are superb on the pavement and incredible on the wet. They can handle any gravel or hard packed dirt no problem, just like the Anakee and the TKC 70. However, I prefer the rounder profile of the TA 3 to the Anakee which makes cornering very predictable. I road across the Continent on the TA 2's and liked them so much, I bought the TA 3's. These tires are claimed to get to temp faster than most which comes in handy for riding in early spring and late fall.

New Old Stock
I like these tires, but the one I received was manufactured 3 years ago. So essentially you are getting new old stock. Not a problem with most items, but a tires life span decreases with age, even if it is not being used. I didn't realize this before paying to install this "new" tire. So it seems like I just bought a used tire.

Huge upgrade from a front Shinko trail tire......
I recently bought this bike which came with a front Shinko trail tire and a new Michelin Anakee Adventure rear tire. The back tire seems good but the front tire would literally howl if it was windy and you could feel the knobbs on the tire. The new Continental is silent and gives a very smooth ride. The dealership did not want to install it with the Michelin on the rear but I pointed out that the 2 existing tires were allready a mix and this would be an iimprovement. They agreed and the tires work really well together!

Front in 21" is garbage
The combination of a skinny 90/90 21 front with the sharp shoulder angle of the tire caused it to wander on pavement that wasn't perfect, or there was a side wind tugging on the front fender, basically all the time. It handled like it was really low on air. It was also out of round and caused the front end to 'hop' between 60-70 km/h. I confirmed the wheel was true and a front dunlop trailmax mission resolved all these issues. The rear tire is great.

Love my Conti Trail Attack Tires
Had a front and rear set of TA 3's with the arrival of the rear tire recently. Had the front tire installed by Speedy Auto. The old one had 24,059 kms on it and probably was good for another one or two thousand kilometers but got some riding to do coming up. Personal record for me on a front tire. I use beads for balancing. Extremely happy with these tires. 2013 BMW R1200GS.

Questions
Is this tire good for a Bigfoot supermoto setup? Or is this compound geared towards the adventure bikes?
I don’t know about fitting these tires on a Big foot super moto.
I got a BMW 1200RT and I like them very much.
I can go on gravel road and they work well, as I was looking for tires for pavement and occasionnel off road.
Quite good on pavement and wet condition.
