Great adventure tire
I’m running this tire on a 650 V Strom, matched with TKC 70 on the front. Great handling on the highway and in town, and provides much more grip off road than OEM tires. I wouldn’t choose it if I was riding deep mud frequently, but it did get me in (and out) of a long, narrow, slippery situation. I’m very pleased with this tire. Also handled wet highways and heavy rain well.

Renewed handling
My 00 650F is nimble and agile shod with these.
As a bonus, I found that the corduroy asphalt on bridges and surfaces under repair has become a non event!

Surprisingly adequate
Put these on my SV650. I only do a little offroad (lots of FSR/gravel/dirt, but not a ton of pure offroad). They seem to hook up on the street just as well as my RoadSmarts. Like most non-stickies, they won't grab when below 10*C, but they seem to warm up pretty quick, and other than being a touch less smooth rolling, I couldn't really tell the difference compared to the RS for street. Though I'm not an insanely aggressive street rider...
On the gravel/dirt they do better than expected, and pure off-road they're garbage, but certainly less garbage than a street slick. But when I say offroad, I'm talking muddy, sloppy, foot path and slimy rocky crags.

Perfect
I typically use TKC 80 on the front and TKC 80 or now the TKC 70 Rocks on the rear. I have use the TKC 70 standard rear as well.
The TKC 80 rear achieved 6500 km on about 60% asphalt and 40% gravel at a cost of $239 or 3.7 cents per km
The TKC 70 Rocks rear, so far has achieved 7600 km, and I suspect it will reach about 9000+ km in total. Again about the same split 60/40 asphalt and gravel. The tire cost $271 or 3.0 cents per km.
The TKC 80 at 3.7 cents per km would have an operational cost of $333 or $62 dollars more (plus a tire change). That was over 4 months of riding so 15 bucks a month, less than a tank of fuel.
I change my own tires at home or on the road if required so no cost there but it could add up for others.
Thus, I am very happy with the results. I would definitely use a TKC 70 Rocks for a longer trip (Calgary to Tuk) but maybe the 80’s if I stay closer to home and keep the % gravel up.
I have a new TKC 80 in my garage ready to install once I do the next 1400 km BUT may very well order a TKC 70 rocks anyway.
The front TKC 80 has lasted 14,200 km so far and I suspect it has another 1000 left. The Dunlop TrailMax front looks like a possibility at $177 with the TKC 80 at $196 but I am likely to stick with the 80.
I have been very pleased with the tire in all conditions.

Good dirt perfomer
Very happy with its performance on dirt roads, even does well on off road / rough trails. They pushed my bike up hill and sandy terrains. Unfortunately the life span is very short (less than 10.000 on the rear).

Can these be used with tubes? I ride DR 650 so I kind of need tubes!
These tires are tubeless, and it's not recommended to use tubes with these tires.
