12 liters ?
Hello, same reviewer here.
One last note.
Dont expect to put 12 Liters in this bag.
12 liters is probably the volume of the cardboard box it came in. :)

Great bag!
I recently purchased this tank bag to go along with the Cortech tail bag and saddlebags for my circle tour of Lake Superior. I ride a 2005 Yamaha FZ6 and this tank bag worked very well. I chose the magnetic version and had no issues at all. The 3 days of rain did not penetrate this bag once the waterproof cover was added. The map pocket is not perfect (it tapers down rather than being all one size) but then I don't read the map while riding so no big deal. I filled the bag with room to spare and yet the bag did not interfere with my riding. I would recommend this bag to anyone and would purchase it again.

Did It's Job
Bought this tank bag for a trip out east...Toronto to PEI and back staying in Canada. Bag was secure on the bike (FJ-09) and fit without issue. Storage was ok and worked for intended use ie: 2 packs of cigarettes and lighter, water bottle, parking puck, earplugs, zipties and side cutters, rag, sunscreen, phone and charger, wallet to name the average. Did get a chance to ride in the rain and the supplied rain cover did work as it should. For scooting around the city, it fits the job perfectly and is easy to carry around when off the bike. For a longer trip, I MAY think about the next size up.

Good bag
Great quality. Big enough to fit lots of small items......cell phone? Gloves, flashlight, multimeter.....you can stuff a lot of small stuff into this bag. Its all tou need for your daily commute or extended ride. For touring, move up to the bigger one

Questions
What are the measurements of the bag? It does not show.
14”L x 8”W x 7”H

what is the difference in the bag that's got magnet and the bag that got straps. like the magnet one how does it hold compared to the strapped one. also would it fit on my 2006 Kawasaki ninja 250. Thanks
The magnets will hold well metal tanks. The only difference is the strapping/ installation method. This is a universal part with no confirmed fits. Should fit fine on your Ninja 250, but just check the dimensions of the bag against your tank measurements. Bag dimensions are 14”L x 8”W x 7”H.

I want to put it on black GSX-R tank using the magnets. If you have a black tank you know they scuffs easily so I was wondering if it would mark my tank?
I used this on my GSX1250 over the course of a 2 week, 6000km trip. The magnetic attachment was rock solid and didn't leave a single mark on the gloss finish on my tank. The magnets are covered in a soft rubber type material that shouldn't mark the surface unless you somehow got grit between the material and the tank.

On the 12 litre strap on bag, is there a slot around the gas cap for fill ups
No there is not. You have to unclip it and move it out of the way.

Would the magnetic one fit on a Yamaha 1100 2006?
It would probably fit fine.. just not sure if it will stick on strong enough (when full and heavy) as this kind of tank (cruiser tank) is downward sloping as opposed to a flat tank on super sport..

Would this fit on a CBR250RA? Not such a silly question as all the plastic pieces snap together real close and not much room for straps to pass between as with the 300cc+ versions.
the best way around the issue with the straps to buy the magnetic tank bag like I purchased. I currently have it on a FZ6 and t works fine with the magnets.
