Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you hesitate between the 12L and the 18L I have been using this one for a coupe of months. When closed it's using almost the same space than the 18Liters. I am able to put all I need for commuting. my lunch, spare t-shirt even shoes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versatile Versatile and easy to use. Just remember there are no permanent anchors so at illegal speeds it is possible for the magnets to let go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have for carrying things around Bought this recently after seeing a friend have this during a group ride. I was worried that the 18L version might be too big, but its not that big. When its not extended its almost the same size as the smaller 12L version. I got the magnetic version, and the magnets are pretty strong. When pulling back on it, which is where most of the force will probably be, its very strong. It also comes with a little strap to secure it around your forks just in case. I would definitely recomend this over a backpack. I use to use a backpack but got tired of putting it on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very practical and well built. I have been using it for a month on my Ninja 300 and I am very pleased. The magnets are very strong, so when I put something heavy in the bag, it doesn't move even if I ride on a bumpy road. The bag looks sturdy and is big, specially with the extension, and the side compartments are big enough for a cell phone or wallet. The only thing I regret is not getting the sloped version of this bag, since my gaz tank is not flat, I would have a better fit with a sloped version. However, all the magnets are in contact with my tank and it still holds in place very well. The odd shaped map pocket is practical but it is a challenge to fit a map inside. Overall, I am very staisfied with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy First time passing a fifth wheel trailer and the bag was in my face but once I understood to keep the bag lower on the tank it works very well. The magnets are strong enough for everything but highly illegal speeds. Pleased with the construction and overall fit and finish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cortech Super 2.0 18 Liter Magnetic mount I was worried that it may be too big and interfere with the controls and instruments. Appears to be the same size as the super 12 when not expanded so went for the larger expandable bag. Fits the lines of the bike nicely have not had to expand the bag yet. Well made, Received within a week

The strap version is out of stock, does the magnetic one come with straps as well? I don't want to rely on the magnets alone

Asked by: cedarleaf
There is a safety strap that attaches to the front of the bag in case it becomes dislodged ,I have never had any issues though , excellent product !!

Will the magnet-mount version of this tank bag sit properly on top of an extruded gas cap? I have a 1984 Honda CB750S (Nighthawk) and am concerned it will not make proper contact with my tank.

Asked by: rico
The magnets will still hold the bag but the installation will not be very stable. I would not recommand it. Have you consider using a tail bag or saddle bags?

Will this bag work on Africa Twin tank?

Asked by: Davecar
The magnets are strong and the flaps they are enclosed in are flexible so if it is a metal tank it should probably work. Looking at the Africa Twin tank I'm wondering if you might want a bigger/wider bag than this one although there is certainly nothing wrong with this one. I'd buy it again.

Would this bag be able to fit a full face helmet HJC CL-17 Helmet (size XS)?

Asked by: ricky
According to HJC, the Cortech Super 2.0 18-Liter Tank Bag would be too small for the approximate dimensions of 14-15" x 12" x 12" of the HJC CL-17 XS helmet.
