Cortech panniers and tailbag a good buy
I've had this set for a couple of months, and they serve me fine. They are not that spacious, but big enough to help with shopping, chores and good for a weekend trip. On our new sports bikes, there is nothing to support the panniers on the bottom (then tend to tip inwards) so i made up some braces extending back from the passenger pegs (Honda CB500X). Easy enough to do with some thin metal strips (curtain mounting bars) or plastic piping.

Excellent bag!
I recently purchased this bag along with the Cortech 2.0 saddlebags for use during my circle tour of Lake Superior. I ride a Yamaha FZ6 and was concerned about the type of bags because of the under seat exhaust. The bags worked very well. I was particularly pleased with the way the tail bag connected with the saddlebags, and the speed with which I could mount and remove all bags. While the saddlebags did experience some water leaking, the tail bag did not, probably because of where it is located. The waterproof cover worked for the tail bag. The tail bag provided some extra space for my clothes etc and were more than adequate for my 7 day ride.
I would highly recommend this bag and the saddlebags, especially for the FZ6. I hope to use them for some time to come and plan on mounting the tail bag as a daily bag for my rides.

Everything you need it to be.
My Guzzi has a plastic tank that is curved as a result traditional tank bags were causing problems so I was looking for an alternative. That was when I came across the Cortech tail bag. So far everything seems very well made and sturdy. It was very easy to install and came with more than enough hardware to mount it. I have the 2.0 saddle bags as well and it integrates smoothly with them, giving the rear a very tidy look. There are several little features that add to its performance. There are internal pockets for small items. It even came with a shoulder strap so you could take if off the bike and use it as a shoulder bag. One thing that I was not expecting that I have learned to appreciate is that it is lined with red material this makes finding small items so much easier than a traditional black liner. Someone at Cortech has actually used these things. I can't think of a single things that I would add or change.

Great Tail Bag
This is a great tail bag. I’ve owned it for 6 or 7 years and mainly use it for multi day road trips combined with my Cortech 2.0 soft saddlebags. The bag clips right into these saddlebags for a perfect & secure fit. It can also easily attach itself to a bike when used without the saddlebags. There’s plenty of storage space plus it’s expandable to offer a little more room when needed. Cortech also includes a rain cover which does work to keep your stuff dry.

Can this fit a Full Face Helmet?
No. While it is a 24 liter back the depth is only 7.5"; it cannot fit a full-face helmet.

Will this fit on the rear fender of a 2017 Kawasaki Vulcan S?
This item is not bike specific, so we cannot guarantee fitment on any specific bike. However, it comes with a few straps, and is pretty much adjustable for any bike. You could also check the dimensions to see how this would fit on your rear fender

do you think this and the Cortech Super 2.0 Saddlebags would fit on a 09 250 ninja, wanna do some moto camping ( not adventure riding obvi cause sport bike)
Absolutely it would run the back strap under the seat and two front steps to the passenger pegs run this set up on Ducati, Honda and Suzuki sport bikes without an issue. Not sure about camping gear fitting inside the bag is not big enough to fit a tent or anything but it will pack all your clothing and will keep it dry for the trip.

I have this tail bag and saddle bag combination, but when heavily/fully packed on a trip the saddle bag ended up rubbing on my rear tire, and almost put a hole right through the saddlebag. Any suggestions to keep it away from the rear tire?
Unfortunately, these bags don't have an option to help raise them up, some bikes won't have a wide enough back seat to keep the bags from swinging in so some DIY modifications would need to be done to shorten the length.

Does the 14 litre version expand? What size does it expand to if it does?
Yes, there are zippers on both sides to expand the width of the bag. No idea how many litres it is, but each side expands out between 2-3 inches.
