Rated 4 out of 5 by from Work very well! The only reason this is not 5 stars is because they are a pain to install; the little squeeze bottle technique is difficult at best. Having some sort of high frequency vibrating tool on the stem is a good idea. But once installed, I have found them to give a very smooth ride.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Balancing beads Neaded some balancing beads for my new tires sodecided to try these as they where not very expensive. I was surprised to see that they looked like corse sand made of quartz. I was skeptical at first but it turns out to work really well. Just cabe back from a 3000km trip and the tire wear is just fine. Recommended

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor idea I bought a 24 oz bag of balancing beads and installed the recommended amount in the tube of the front tire of my KTM 990 ADV. They do balance the tire as claimed, but I don't like the fact that it has to re-balance every time I stop. I don't like having my tire thump away for a few miles after every stop. I bought a tire balancer and won't be using the beads again.

          Questions

How do I decide what size beads to order? I have 170/70-16 and 130/90-16 motorcycle tires.

          Asked by: Rufus46
The weight required for those tire sizes is 2oz for the front and 2oz for the rear. Therefore, 4 x 2oz.

I want to change over my weights to the beads, should I remove the wheel weights, can they be used with any tube, can they be used on front tires, are they appropriate for offroad conditions? Thanks

          Asked by: Clayton
Remove the lead weights. Tube or tubeless is ok. One ounce of beads for 6 lbs of tire.
