Good replacement Argo tires
This is for all you Argo owners out there looking for a replacement for your older Carlisle tires and don’t want to spend a small fortune on those new Argo tires you can only get at Argo dealers at jacked up prices. I put 8 of these tires on my conquest and so far they work great. I’ve gone hunting in September where it was a little bit wet and greasy and the tires had no problem holding up. Great traction in the mud no problem and no issues with maneuverability. They do have that ridge down the middle which when turning does tear up the ground a bit more but as long as you aren’t burning doughnuts on your own front lawn it shouldn’t be a big deal. The caveat to that though is that I did notice when running across a slope of a hill that ridge down the middle actually seemed to help the machine from sliding down sideways a bit, so it helped with a bit of stability there. When the tires have about 4-5lbs in them they do kinda seem a bit stiff, but they had no problem folding and rolling over bumps or small logs, etc. When they are on the machine they do almost visually seem a bit narrower than the old Carlisle’s, but again, I did not see a negative in performance. I’ve read that some guys have said that these tires don’t “swim” very well. To that I have no experience as we don’t really have to cross any water where I go, but with the aggressive paddle they have on them, I can’t imagine they really wouldn’t be that bad. Long story short, I am very happy with the tires and saved a ton of money not buying the expensive Argo ones.

Good tire
Good tire, but was very disappointed in that they don’t match the other brand “4SNOW” tire they have
They look very similar except the thread pattern
But they are totally not even close to the same

cst caribou 22x10x8 tire
purchased this for an 1989 argo 6x6 . usually use the argo in the winter to haul feed out to animals and have to open trail with argo. Work great. Better price than the argo brand tire
