Works as advertised and compact
Installed at the top of my licence plate under the clear plate cover on my Vic Vision and it shows up really well as it also reflects off the curve on my luggage box. Makes it tough to say I didnt see you stopping!

Useless
Water from rain got inside and now there are only three LEDs lighting up.
It wasn’t sealed properly.
I didn’t like it from the beginning, anyway.
These lights were not very bright; they are barely visible during the day and only moderately at night.

Good in Theory But Not in Practice
Product build quality was good but it strangely only worked with the ignition off. When the bike was running the light wouldn't work. I spoke with the manufacturer via email and telephone to try to diagnose the issue, measuring voltage under load or not, and under various conditions. In theory it should have worked, but didn't. They asked me to send the product to them in North Carolina but it wasn't worth the expense. I had already mounted the light using the supplied double sided tape so didn't really feel like I could return it to Fort Nine. Two stars for the effort by Custom Dynamics. 1 star each for value and install as it didn't work for me but I can only assume that I just happened to get a lemon. Ymmv.

Questions
How wide is this unit? Also, is it possible to turn the flashing brake mode to just a solid light if needed? This light is technically illegal in Ontario. If I'm hassled it would be good to be able to go solid and avoid buying another non-flashing unit.
Guessing its about .75" wide. I know of no way to turn the flash off. In my opinion the flash is too slow and a flashing red light is not illegal. If you had a flashing white light as it would be. If it were illegal a driver could not touch the brake pedal lightly and have the brake light go off and on. I like the light other than the slow flashing. I have 11,000 km on it and it is still as installed.
