Good jacket with some ergonomic issues
I've been wearing the jacket for weekend & 3 season commuter use for the past 9 months. After using it for a good amount of time, there are a few things I like, and a few I don't...
The good: solid protection, plus the option for a spine guard / pad, the fit once on the bike is great, enough adjustability to make it fit around the waist and wrists reasonably well, decent ventilation with good weather protection (especially with the optional liner), and the jacket does look great.
The bad: the fit on this thing is a bit weird. there is very little volume through the arms, yet the body fits fairly big, so if you're layering, options are limited. The jacket also fits short in the body, yet to get the fit to work and not be too loose, you can't get the length. The pockets are also quite aggravating. The position of the outside pockets is strange, they're in an awkward position, making them difficult to use, plus the zips constantly get caught in the liners. I also had one pull break within days of buying the jacket. The interior zips are also difficult to use and are impossible to find if you're wearing gloves.
For reference, I'm 6'-3", 180lbs, and I'm wearing a size 54. If you're on the taller / leaner side, something that fits longer and lower volume might be better.
Overall, if the fit is on point, and you can live with the ergonomic quirks, this is a nicely made jacket with great protection and solid style.
