Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better Than Other Options I recently received a size 48 in these pants after first ordering the 46. I am tall and thin, so the 46 was too short. The pants are constructed of what appears to be very sturdy material that should hold up well in a slide and certainly better than any Kevlar jean. The knee pads are also fairly robust and should offer good impact protection if they stayed in place. The hip pads, however are sort of flimsy and there's no back protection. I ride my bike throughout the year and today it was about 8 celsius in Vancouver and the pants were not quite warm enough, which bodes well for the summer months. With a pair of thermal underwear worn underneath, they were perfectly warm. The pants look better than most motorcycle pants as they are not bulky and are almost like regular pants (but for the knee pads, which are bulky and the thick material). If you find the right fit, the only real issue is they make a swishing sound when you walk. The pants are comfortable enough for short walks, for example, to do grocery shopping but you wouldn't want to walk around in them all day or attend a social event for several hours. As to fit, if you are around 6 feet tall, and of average weight, they will likely still be a bit short. They will certainly be too short once you are on your bike. I ride a Vespa 300, so my feet are a bit higher up than they would be on most motorcycles, so the pants are about 3 inches above my shoes. I guess the solution is boots. Anyway, Dainese should make longer versions of each size. The pants are also fairly tight. As mentioned, I'm thin and the 46 was a bit too tight. All of that is accentuated when you are on your bike, knees bent and in a sitting position, so you might want to start with ordering one size too big. Canadamotorycle's return process was easy but they did charge $7 postage. The bottom line is I am happy enough with the pants to keep them. I did a lot of research for a pant that would offer road rash and impact protection while not making me look like a space alien and I found no better option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic These pants will keep you cool and looking sharp. Unzip those thigh vents and prepare for a cold breeze straight to the boys. If you've never experienced Ball AC wait no further. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great look and fit. I bought these after watching just about every female motovlogger recommend them for a textile pant. They are comfortable, well armored - granted I would like hip armor - the venting works great and they offer a good amount of water resistance. I recommend sizing up as they are a euro fit. Street sizing I wear a 27 pant and between a 4/6. I am 5 foot 6 140 pounds with an athletic hourglass shape. These are the only pants I found that I would not have needed 4 inches hemmed off of and they do not have space between my back and the pants when I ride. I ride a Kawasaki Vulcan S so I am. Not sure how they would work with a more aggressive sport riding position.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super comfy! I've owned these pants for over a year and despite a few gripes, I still absolutely love them and would definitely recommend! THE FIT: I am 5'6 and have varied between 125-130lbs over the year I've had these. I bought a size 44 and they are a bit too big around my waist, causing them to sit even lower. The knee protectors sit perfectly when I am sitting on my bike though... I don't know if that would be the case if I had gone smaller. THE GOOD: - They look amazing on! - Super comfy! - I have often continued to wear them inside the house for hours before finally taking them off. - Excellent wind protector - with a pair of leggings and long wool socks underneath, my legs are quite warm even when riding to work at 1-degree Celcius (west coast) - Excellent ventilation - In the summer (20-25C+ weather) I wear a pair of loose shorts underneath and feel brilliantly cooled. If I am boiling sitting at a stoplight it has more to do with which jacket I chose to wear. - I love these for moto-camping because they are durable and keep me warm while setting up. - I like the convenience of taking the knee pads out through the ventilation pockets. - Decent sized pockets (wish I could say the same thing for normal women's pants) THE GRIPES: (which don't outweigh my love for these pants, no matter how annoying) - They ride low on the hips, unfortunately, and I can't vouch for how they fit zipped to a Dainese jacket. My current riding jacket sits a little high... so if I'm not wearing my black zipup coat underneath, my shirt will show between.. - To tighten the pants, it has velcro tabs on either side... this is annoying because I can never get them tight enough (accidentally bought too big a size) and the velcro that hangs off the ends always snags parts of my shirts and jackets, slowly ruining them. VELCRO should NOT be apart of moto gear. - It doesn't have an option for hip protectors In nutshell: Comfy, stylish without discounting quality and durability. They keep me cool riding in 20-25 degrees and protect me from windchill at 1 degree. I wish they had something better than velcro straps on the side for tightening. I wish they had an option for hip protectors and had better-tightening straps that did not rely on cloth ruining velcro - which is the reason I can not give this 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome These pants exceeded my expectations. Unlike a lot of moto pants, their fit is perfect, somewhat tight-fitting, but very confortable. The quality of top-notch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, & useful for most weather. I've worn these for a week-long road trip, and around town and on day trips, and they're fantastic. Super comfy, yet not bulky. Cool enough in the heat (25C ish here), with the vents open, and generally warm enough for most spring/summer weather. I put merino tights underneath for greater warmth when it gets to 10C, and they're perfect. They're also somewhat water-resistant, and kept me dry during the off-on of light rainshowers (they definitely don't stay dry during pouring rain, unfortunately.) These are totally worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pants! Though not super cheap, they're a good bargain. You get what you pay for in terms of design, fit, and overall quality. I followed the sizing chart and they fit just right, but I am an average sized guy so that's not usually a problem. While not super heavy-duty pants, nor are they light mesh gear either. With knee armour, hip padding, and decent textile they feel like they would hold up pretty well in a slide. At the same time they look good - they're not bulky and don't hang down in the butt or sound like a snowsuit when I walk. These pants do have large thigh vents although the effect isn't quite as breezy as mesh. I like that they're not overpants - I don't feel like I'm baking in hot weather. If you're used to wearing gear anyway, they're comparatively comfortable. They work well in a wide mid-range of temperatures, but they could easily be made warmer with thin long underwear for those cold days. Easy-on and off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functional, Comfortable, Great Looking I love these pants. I bought them as a new rider looking for a good quality pant that would fit. I read review after review, and watched video after video of different pants. I ended up purchasing these and the Alpinestars Riley denim pants (that is a whole different story). These pants are perfect. They fit a women's form well ( I am 5 foot 6, about 140 pounds, athletic/hour glass shape), I generally wear a size 6/27" pants and I ordered these in a 42, they are snug but comfortable. That being said I would have ordered the 44 if they had been in stock. The venting is very functional and works well once you get up to speed. I enjoy the zipper by the ankle to make putting them on and over your boots (I wear the Icon Overlord boot) very easy. I love the armour in the knees but would I would recommend these as 2-3 season wearing for pants.

                  Questions

The automated spellcheck on my smartphone massacered my question earlier, therefore here it is again. I am 6'3" , 185 and I wear a 36x34. I believe a 52 Tall would fit well. Can you provide?

                  Asked by: Explorer
Unfortunately the tall sizes for these pants are not available at the moment. Sorry about that.

Hi, does the current version of these pants have hip pads? Also do they fit true to the size chart? Thanks.

                  Asked by: jtbl
These pants include knee and shin protection only. From what customers have written in their reviews, the pants seem to fit smaller than expected.

Would these pants fit over boots?

                  Asked by: mkg1025
Depending on the boots, these pants should fit over them. For example, they will fit over the Icon Overlord boots, but may not fit over a bulkier boot. There is a zipper by the ankle, which allows for this.

These pant are not advertised as laminated or for rain, but I was wondering if anyone had tried it and how the pants faired in the rain.

                  Asked by: Doug
I've had a couple of rainy rides in them and they really aren't ideal for rainy weather. First time I got absolutely soaked, it took a while for it to come through but it was an intense couple hours of downpour in the Kootenay mountains. Second time I was a little more prepared, I sprayed with a waterproofing nikwax spray and that made a decent difference.

je viens de recevoir le pantalon. Les protecteurs de genoux tombent systématiquement en bas de mes genoux, complètement.  Donc même si je plie mes genoux, les protections ne remontent pas. Je veux savoir si c'est un défaut du pantalon svp

I'm not sure about the sizing? I am a 27 or usually a 6.. in pants., which size would be good for me. Is the material a little stretchy then ?

                  Asked by: Monia99
I usually wear a size 12, waist 31.  I looked on the size chart prior to ordering, and ordered a size 50.  I can wear my jeans under these pants, so if I wanted them fitted I could've ordered a size 48.  They aren't very stretchy.  The waist can be cinched with velcro tabs.  I'm 5'8, and the length is great.  I really like these pants...they are very slimming.  I would suggest getting the size closest to you on the size chart...I found it pretty accurate.  Hope this helps!
