D.I.D has merged our Professional O-Ring V Series and our top selling Premium X-Ring® VM Series into "ONE" New Pro-Street X-Ring® VX Series. Created from the severe demands of today's top World Superbikes, D.I.D is proud to introduce this New high performance VX Series. In developing this new series, D.I.D focused on improving "Rigidity". Traditionally, "Tensile Strength" has been used to indicate the overall strength of a chain. But Tensile Strength is only a laboratory static measurement of a chain's "breaking point". Rigidity, on the other hand, is the ability of a chain to withstand forces that occur in a rider's real world experience. Increased rigidity means better power transfer from the engine to the ground and greater resistance to stretching under load. This translates into smooth handling and quicker response time. To maximize performance, D.I.D's race proven X-Ring® design delivers overall improved performance that meets the demands of today's high-performance machines. The VX Series is the ultimate in performance and durability, now available at a new low O-Ring Chain Price. VX Series Chains are available in 428VX, 520VX2, 525VX and 530VX sizes. D.I.D's New PRO-Street X-Ring® VX Series Chains are a perfect match for your dual sport, sport bike or sport touring bike.

It's a chainWhat an awesome chain! It appears to be made of some sort of metal, which I'm glad that it is because if it was made of wood it would probably break. The rivets are also metal which is a bonus for the same reason. I tried to put it around my neck, but then realized it's not a neck chain, it's a bike chain. So I put it on my bike and I've been happy ever since.
I also want to mention how fast it was shipped. I placed the order and two days later it arrived. Great service.

Tight spot even newI was replacing a DID 525 ZVMX chain with nearly 22k km on it. It was a preventive replacement as we were heading for a 5k km road trip. Well maybe I shouldn’t replace it as the new “lower quality” chain had more tight spot that the chain being replaced. I don’t say it’s a bad chain and until now it work good but it was deceiving. Only time will tell if the price vs quality worth it. Yes both Sprocket have been replaced with the chain.

Same chain as came stock . That one lasted 35k on a v-strom 1000 not just on pavement but dual sport riding . I expect this one will do the same

Great price for a great chain.I've had my eye on this chain since I got my black Thruxton with gold stripes. And when the time came to replace my chain and sprockets I found Fortnine had the best prices and stock. Looks amazing and no complaints so far.

Great chainWent on easily using Motion Pro Chain Tool - 08-0470. Took roughly 1.5 hr (removing old and installing new) taking time not to destroy the master link. Micrometer helped determine the rivets were mushroomed enough. Super smooth ride now.

Arrived on time and works great!Installed easily with a motion pro chain tool and a dial caliper. Use the caliper to press the link on so that it is the same width as some other factory links, then use the dial caliper to press the rivits about 5-10 thousand more than the link pin.

Good chainThis is my second time with this brand of chain. it's honestly not much different than another brand. It might last a few 1000 Kms longer than other brands I've tried. The plating on the links rather than plan steel helps and keeping it oiled/lubed is the huge difference. My last chain which I'm still using has 22,000 Kms on it and only now starting to show signs is going.
Probably a dumb question but unfamiliar with Chain sizing. My bike has a chain with 118 links so presume I would order the "120" size? Also does this Chain come with a master link? Thankyou

Yes it does come with the master link (rivet type). It's written in a green squarre in the description
