Competition use?
For how expensive this chain is, I've had it for two years now on my DR650 and it's pretty much finished. Yeah, I ride hard, but for a chain that's more than twice the price of what I can get it's not worth it. A $100 chain will last just as long it seems.

Chains sometimes a pain
I bought this chain because i am tired of reolacing the mediocre products of other brands. If you ride a lot like me you need a chain to stand up to the test. I put about 30, 000 on a year so i dint want to have to buy 2 chains and sprocket sets per year.

Does this come with a rivet master link?

I bought this last week and got it along with the rivet master link - DID 525 ZVMX. However, the rivet master-link has O ring seals instead of X-ring seals. Is this OK?
I believe they refer to the x-section as an X profile. If you look closely at the "O" ring you'll see tiny extra flappy bits around the edge. The O ring is still round!
