One Flaw
This tool made short work of removing the old chain, and was pretty impressive right up to the moment the screw that holds the tool halves in the right position sheared off as I was reinstalling it to rivet the pins. This isn't a case of overtorquing either...the screw is hollow for...reasons? I honestly can't explain it. The whole rest of the tool is built like a tank. But this one screw is hollow and shears like butter?
Luckily I was still able to extract the screw easily, but otherwise I'd be stuck with a tool that cannot be removed from the chain. I'll go get a replacement screw for next time. And it'll be solid.

Ça vaut le "coût"
Pour avoir essayé un autre modèle, celui-ci est conçu pour durer. Dès que j'ai eu la boîte dans mes mains, j'ai su rien qu'au poids (comparé avec l'autre marque) que c'était de la qualité. Le remplacement de la chaîne s'est fait facilement et rapidement et sans même "buffer" la tête du rivet.

Solid Trades Grade Tool
Will rivet most brands of chain not just DID. Compact and easy to use. Lots of vids online on how to use properly.

Made to work!
Bought this tool after the MP toy broke. I used it on a DID (525XV) but I image it would work on others. Better check. It is a bit expensive, but it is solid and there's no guessing... it does the job.

Works very well on DID chains
The Motion Pro PBR is a better breaker/press... HOWEVER...the DID is the best rivet flare hands down. On DID chains especially this is the best rivet flare hands down.

Robustly engineered chain tool
I have used a few different chain tools: this is the best. That's not surprising as it is made by a major chain manufacturer; D.I.D. This is expensive, but worth the price.

Really easy to use and very solid!
Broke a chain without sweating, pushed and riveted on a link like a walk in the park (riveting required more force than pushing the link on though!), and even withstood my wrong size 1 1/4" open ended wrench like it was nothing!
