Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality chain Needed a new timing chain for a late 90's Triumph project that I picked up not knowing how or if it would run and wanting to see what I had after replacing chain guides on it. I found out that I could not get a chain from the dealer as item was back ordered and they said would take a few months minimum to get in. Knowing that Triumph used D.I.D as a supplier to themselves I researched the profile, chain length and link count and matched up a chain listed for an 80's Honda. Triumph chain was priced five times higher than I was able to acquire this chain for. Installed beautifully taking up slack and providing a nice tight fit allowing tensioner to compress back to its when new position. I have ran this engine in this bike now as much as I can weather permitting and am very please on how responsive it is. Without this chain I would have still been waiting for parts on a bike not knowing how well it ran. I now know what I have and in future will go straight to D.I.D when I can bypass the dealer for the projects in need that I come across. This bike was a gamble when purchased and had a broken guide due to a worn chain and driven way past recommended replacement interval thus leading to jumping time. Great deal for someone mechanical like me to repair and D.I.D made it possible with the availability when the dealer had no stock.
