About Motocross Tires
When it comes to motocross and dirt bike tires, your rim size is fixed — match it exactly. Width and aspect ratio decide how the tire hooks up. Narrower digs in, wider spreads out. Pick what suits your terrain and riding style.
How to Use the Motocross Tire Filter
Motocross tires use three numbers: Width, Aspect, and Rim Size. Match all three to your bike’s spec — that’s how you get the full code like 110/90-19.
- Tire Width = The section width in millimeters. Common fronts are 80 and 90. Common rears are 100, 110, and 120.
- Tire Aspect = Sidewall height as a percentage of width. A 100 means tall, a 90 means lower profile. Fronts are usually 90 or 100; rears are often 80 or 90.
- Rim Size = Wheel diameter in inches. Fronts are almost always 21. Rears are typically 19 (motocross) or 18 (enduro/off-road).
