Didn’t fit
The mounting part was too thick. I had to carefully grind down each side to make it fit my 84 fxr. Lucky for me I’m a machinist.

I bought this to replace my factory worn out coil and wire assembly. Paired with 2 NGK Iridium plugs my CM250Custom ran like a top! Until just the other day. I did this all last year, stored it for the winter, unwrapped it, and boy did it run rough! Accidently forgeting to treat the fuel didn't help, since I was then using egg smell I a new tank...professionally cleaned carb etc. Finally bothered to double check spark plug condition and working order. Surprise, a bad plug with intermittent spark. Tested coil-dud. Rather disappointed to put it lightly. I fully understand and can accept finding or dealing with a faulty part, the odd time. I was hoping of course to get a few years trouble free-fix and forget. Well, not this time. Now shopping for another new coil.
