Questions
What is the difference between vented and non vented?
All caps are vented, but depending on the design of the tank some considerations need to be looked at. On efi there is a separate vent tube under the speedo that bleeds pressure out of the tank. The cap will allow air to come into the tank only and not out.
I’d go by the rule:
1 cap tank = Vented
2 cap tank = 1 vented 1 non vented

i have a 91 heritage, dual tank. the caps have the opposite thread pattern. i want both caps vented. i am having trouble finding this. due to a carb change the system does not vent as it did and one tank, the right side, does not draw properly or at all.
