Look great but poor electrical build quality
I bought two pairs. Opened only one set. The lenses were fairly easy to open as long you keep your finger on the lens firmly and do not let it rotate... else the wires inside will twist and possibly break.
I was disappointed in the the manner in which the wires were crimped to the base of the socket. The insulation portion was not a part of the crimp which leads to the copper being exposed and posing a potential short circuit to the body which is ground.
Fortnine was gracious enough to send me a replacement but it looks like they are all built like this. This might be something drag specialties needs to be made aware of and fix.
I am going to have to heat shrink these crimps to ensure they dont fray and touch the ground.
The body is built with very good quality metal. The lenses are nice and the option to switch between amber and red lenses is great...
Finding a LED replacement bulb for these is proving to be super hard. The standard 1157 base LED bulbs are too tall to fit. I have found one set from VLeds which are designed to be replacements for small globe 1157 lamps but they aren't as bright as I would have liked them to be.
overall a nice little unit but the wiring issue could prove to be a deal breaker if it shorts out.

Solid, bright markers
I chose these Custom Bullet Markers because they had orange & red lenses, they had a bolt on option, & they where non led. These lights have a grounded body a 2 filament bulb, & a rubber weather seal. The bulbs fit tight. When I removed two of the red lenses to change to orange, the rubber weather seals were stuck to the bulb fixture/removable trim & as I twisted them off the wires broke & I began the process of doing a re-solder job on the two. This was a little tuff as it was very small solder work. If the seals were left off @ the factory I do not feel I would have had this problem. Other than that, they fit nice, are bright. I wet/dry sand the chrome off as this was the look I was wanting. They are tuffer than ofter lights I tried as they are a nice solid mount. I would buy these again, but would be creative & find a way to remove the lenses without breaking the wires off the bulb mount.
