Looks and works great
Part fit perfectly on my 2012 Road Glide Ultra and looks great. Just keep in mind that the bulb will also need to be changed to a red LED bulb. This is due to the fact that the lens is smoked and not red. Also due to how close the bulb is to the rear lens. The regular bulb creates heat which will damage the taillight lens. Laydown Taillight Lens
Have a 2007 Fatboy, my original rear brake lens got cracked from above thus shorting out the brake sensor at the brake pedal. Fits perfectly, easy install and looks great with my laydown license plate. Both follow my rear fender silhouette. My plate is visible at night as well.

Great Update
When I went for a detachable tour pack, everything else needed to be updated. Switched out the signal lights, put on a plate relocate and of course the stock light looked horrible. This laydown without a tag window was the perfect finish. Everything came from Fortnine as always!

Be sure to use an LED bulb
My bike came with a laydown style light that had a melted spot in the middle. This light came with a note to use only LED bulbs. The bulb sits closer to the lense than stock and an incandescent bulb will melt the plastic. Glad to have it sorted and the old melted light replaced.

What led bulb does this item require?
As the Drag Specialties lay down taillight is vehicle specific, the type of light depends on the vehicle you have.

I have 08 flhtcu and changing licence plate relocation to under under taillight from tour pak will I just have to change lens or whole light and does it have clear on bottom for licence plate
So since I am looking at getting the smoked lense with the top tag window for my 04 Ultra Classic I presume I would need a red led bulb but does this come with any sort of integrated white light for the tag window? If not do you recommend any other option
don't buy this !!! worst thing I bought !! the license tag is red since there's no white light, rain leaks inside and it hard to find an LED red bulb (since you can't use a regular red bulb)

2006 FXDBI... What bulb would i need to buy?
The bulbs that Canada motorcycle recommend I buy didn't fit my 2012 fatboy when I got it. Or my wife's 2011 Harley 48. I never sourced Another bulb, so the lenses have sat on the shelf for the last 15 months. Lol
