Dipsticks to short
No good, it said it would fit a 2006 softail but the dipstick is to short

It works, but
It works, but it is not the same length as the OEM dipstickso when you're ok level is at the full mark it's only about 1/4 inch on this dipstick. But it does register while in the sidestand and so far the temp is correct as per my IR gun. Finish is also quite good. Make you mark the dipstick to match your OEM one.

great oil tank dipstick /plug
My 1991 Harley FXSTS started have an oil mist on the oil tank. It was the dipstick plug that was the problem . I ordered this one from FortNine and it fits perfectly , no more oil escaping . It even has a temperature Guage . Well worth the cost ..

Could be better...
When i first got it- i couldnt get it to fit, but lubing the o-ring and pressing it in with my fingertips got it to fit, and does fit ok now. It does work- tells you the temp of the oil, but the overall feel and look (the gauge is crooked, doesnt sit all the way in for a flush fit) makes me wish i just saved up a couple more bucks and got the harley one. For $80- id say this one is not worth it.

My Harley Davidson branded oil temperature gauge started leaking oil when the oil was hot. The Drag Specialties oil cap/temperature gauge stopped the leak and is working great.

Real Nice Addition
I added this to my Sportster. Perfect fit, and real nice finish. Maybe a little tight at first, but it’s a perfect fit
