I purchased these struts for my 07 FLSTN as I wanted the “stock” parts. I removed my original and the mounting holes are smaller not allowing the bolt receiver to pass through. Fort Nine was helpful, but told me the manufacturer said they were fine and to just return them. I had to do my own “McGiver” to make them work as I needed them.

Is it ready for paint? No it's going to need work
Decent but will need work as the press marks on the side are substantial. Plan on sanding and prepping the surface well to get rid of the "Die" marks
