My local HD shop said that the ring gear can't be replaced. They said how do you press out rivets without warping the aluminum hub. Does the ring gear come with instructions.
All you do is drill them out

The picture doesn't show any mounting holes. Is this accurate?
Depending on your application, the ring gear may be bolted or riveted on. In the case that there are no mounting holes on the ring gear means that it must be shrink fitted to the clutch hub by heating the ring gear up in an oven.
