Rated 5 out of 5 by from These shocks are Awesome!!! Not only do these shocks look great, they perform so much better than my stock Shocks. The adjustability for height is a nice feature when carrying a passenger or loaded for a road trip.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not enough give in the suspension, 12"-1/2 height, gave me a bruised tailbone. I wanted just a little lower than stock. It has some suspension travel left, I'm 225 lbs and springs to stiff. Will change oil in stock airshocks and new airlines.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a difference!!! I bought these to replace the crappy stock shocks on my Iron 883. I was looking at these and the Progressive 412. I went with the Drag Specialties mostly because of the price and Im glad I did. It now feels like a totally different bike and rides so much better. I dont bottom out anymore and can easily ride two up without fear of the back tire being shredded by the fender. They are height adjustable but out of the box they were perfect for me. Best upgrade on the bike so far. Harley should be embarrassed for putting those stock piece of crap shocks on any bike. Absolutely a must have upgrade

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game Changer on My Dyna Put these on my 2005 Dyna Low Rider. 13” version. Bought the bike 6 months ago, bottomed out all the time, was super rough, sometimes felt out of control with big bumps. So I popped these on. I read about challenges of adjusting the preload, so I didn’t bother with that, just pulled the old shocks off, and installed these with the factory setting. Super easy with a lift. First solo ride? Wow. Totally different ride. Very stable, smooth, took some huge dips in the road, no bottoming out, felt great! Went for a 200km ride with a passenger, same thing. I used to cringe riding the low rider thinking I was going to cause damage or crash from hitting bottom. Not anymore! Good value here.

          Questions

Bought the shocks but the spring locking rings are so tight together I can not get them apart to stiffen the spring or lengthen the shock, it is at 11.5 when received and I want 12 or larger. How do you get these to move.?

          Asked by: Frustration4Mark
The shocks comes with a wrench to set the ride height and preload, turning the collar will make the adjustment.
