Excellent finish
Words and pic's should not rub off as embossed into caps. Beware when installing that behind the lights cap on left and run cap on right there are spring loaded pins which will fly out when removing old caps. They are super small and easy to lose. That's why the instructions refer to service manual. They are relatively easy to install, I used a pic tool to remove old ones and the new snap into place. It would be nice if there was a kit option that included the extended version of turn signal caps but that's just a personal choice.

Look great if you love chrome & gold
I got the gold switch caps to go with chrome housings on my 2009 HD Sportster XL1200C. I love the way they look. I was not able to tell from the online photos if the symbols were embossed (meaning molded into the plastic) or just screen printed onto the surface (like the OEM black caps) but I can tell you that they are embossed so the symbols will never wear off. It takes care an significant effort to swap the caps so have patience and maybe watch some video tutorials before attempting your own installation. I was installing Kuryakyn chrome switch housings anyway so I decided to replace my worn out OEM caps. Glad I did because I really like them now.

Horrible
No directions included. There's a reason why. If you see whats involved you won't order them. You have to dismantle the switch housings to get the switches removed and the new ones installed. Took over 3 hrs and broke the "mode select" switch messing around with the housing to a tune of $97. If you are not familiar with the internal workings of the housings get a tech or clever friend to assist otherwise don't get them. These flashy plastic switch covers has now cost me over $150...not worth it.
