Rated 2 out of 5 by from Product arrived on time and was packaged well. I was not impressed with the mounting system however. The screws did not thread into the part of the lock mechanism very easily. There was no thread cut into the female socket. Consequently one of the nipples that are meant to expand and secure the machine screw broke off and the screw is only holding by a few threads. This probably will cause the latch mechanism to work its way loose and fall off. Perhaps this is as due to my inexperience but I am not happy that this product requires a better than average knowledge of how to thread in the machine screws. I think I could design a more user friendly system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent product. Compares well to OEM Same fit & look as stock. Some have complained on the self tapping screws. Its important to take your time here. Install the screws to make the threads before you mount the latches. They are a tight fit. Be sure to back the screw out a bit every turn or so, to break the chip. They will not thread that far in before they bottom out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from White metal It comes with self tapping screws and there white metal. If you had tap and dye set would be no issue but screw broke immediately

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not complete. Holes where not threaded. The small holes that are to be screwed in where not threaded. I assumed it was self tapping. The screws broke off inside. Had to throw them out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Trash! Get OEM Spent 30min messing around with one “self tapping” screw that would not tap. Ended up breaking the screw. The OEM ones are threaded. What a waste of money. How do I get a replacement?

Questions

I was wondering what the center to center on the holes for latches is. The fiberglass on the tour pack is broken. So hoping they are a bit wider then what was on there before.
