no more dirty bolt ends.
These acorn nuts have a bright chrome finish and are a bit longer than standard I think which allows you to use them in more locations without having to cut any material off of the bolt ends and allowing the use of locktite

Regular thread!
I got these to replace an acorn nut that came off of the bottom of my mirror. Size was great, but Harley OEM mirrors have a tight thread pattern. My dad had a tool to change the thread to make it tighter and it works perfectly! Looks great!
